Experiência fantástica: From the moment Lionel picked us up at the airport with his big beautiful smile we felt like we were with family! We talked like old friends with him pointing out things for us to see and do and when checking in Tuna and Andre were absolutely wonderful and full of smiles and laughing at my bad jokes :) We had an absolutely incredible time and the whole staff was truly incredible! On our way back from the sauna Soraia ran up behind me to give me the cutest little flower for no reason and it made my whole day! I can't wait to return to enjoy the company of old friends and the delicious breakfast and restaurant! The location was fantastic, the rooms were fantastic, truly a 10 out of 10 but next time we will need to stay longer!

Experiência positiva: The staff were fantastic apart from the rude lady at reception, who held up her finger when I asked what time breakfast was served and said "I will tell you when I am done". The mezzanine suite is not a suite, it is a bathroom then stairs and a bedroom. Someone clearly thought they could make use of the attic and call the room a suite and charge suite prices. The most outrageous part is that the air conditioning is disabled and you need to call reception to have it turned on. Every. Single. Day. Several times a day. They even have the audacity to ask if the window is open before they will turn the air conditioning on. A great way to annoy your guests is to have them come back to their room every evening to a FURNACE. A four star hotel with two star management policies.

Experiência fantástica: We stayed 3 nights at this Pousada and we were very, very happy. Location is fabulous. The room was nice, spacious, clean and tidy. The bed was comfortable. The staff were friendly and very attentive. Breakfast was a treat. Everything simply worked. Opportunities for improvement: quality of the pillows and capacity of the aircon. In balance, we loved this hotel with all the adornments and would highly recommend it to anyone traveling to Lisboa.

Experiência fantástica: What an amazing stay! Second time staying in a small luxury hotels collection type of hotel and they are just incredible! The staff was sooo friendly and gave great recommendations to eat and also gave us an absolutely amazing recommendation to hear some fadu music which was one of the highlights of our trip! They also gave us a gift of a hand painted tile and chocolates throughout our stay. Breakfast was absolutely amazing and the a la carte items were delicious and looked incredible too. The location was great too as I felt like we could walk to most places. I definitely felt like I stayed in one of the best hotels in the area. If you are thinking about booking this hotel, I highly recommend. You will NOT be disappointed! Thank you Pousada de Lisboa staff! Me and my Fiance will now cherish the memories we had there forever!

Experiência positiva: Exemplary staff and great service, location is fantastic too. The rooms are just okay, nothing special. If you’ve visited other Pousadas you will be disappointed by this one - having stayed in 9 other Pousadas we were a little disappointed by the lack of historic references in this. Whilst the building is clearly historic, it’s obviously been renovated as a central hotel and the restaurant (steak and wine) doesn’t compare to other Pousadas where there is fantastic Portuguese cuisine vs a quite generic steak restaurant. The gym is a mild afterthought and the pool area is somewhat disappointing. Amazing location but will be trying out other hotels next time.

Experiência negativa: Ne mérite pas 5 étoiles, et donc bien trop cher pour le niveau de prestation!! -Pire matelas vu dans un hôtel de plus de 2 étoiles. -Mini bar pauvre et non remplis par le personnel. Nous avons du appeler 4 fois pour que le mini bar soit finalement rempli au bout de 3 jours… -Personnel du restaurant désagréable. -Chambres mal nettoyées durant la journée (poubelles non vidées, bouteilles d’eau vides laissés sur la table de chevet,…).

Experiência negativa: I booked this hotel at the end of a longer trip, moving from another (far superior) Pestana group hotel, just around the corner from this one. We were supposedly ‘upgraded’ to a ‘duplex suite’. This was basically an attic room, with a tiny window. The bathroom was on the ground floor and then a winding stairs led up to the bedroom. The entire floor looks tired and worn. In our room, our bathroom floor was filthy. Honestly, I should have complained there and then but I decided to stay put, against my better judgement. However, rhe room was impossible to sleep in as the air conditioning either did not work at all or required some masters level degree to operate. I found out at near midnight so it was too late to do anything about it. It totally ruined our last day in Lisbon. I would highly recommend staying somewhere else. This is NOT a 5 star hotel.

Experiência fantástica: We had a lovely 3 night stay at this great hotel. The staff were extremely helpful and courteous. They went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. The rooms were of a good size. The breakfast had a big spread and covered most delectable items ranging from eggs to sweets. The best part was the location. It is situated right by the biggest square of Lisbon and it was a perfect spot, as we could come in and go per our convenience. I loved this hotel with all the artifacts and decor and would highly recommend to anyone traveling to Lisbon.

Experiência fantástica: Eu já estive a oportunidade de estar em alguns hotéis pelo mundo, mas nunca tive a oportunidade de ter uma experiência tão maravilhosa do início ao fim, como tive na Pousada de Lisboa. A começar pelo excelente Staff, pessoas genuinamente gentis e hospitaleiras dispostas a darem o seu melhor para os outros, isso com certeza foi o diferencial deste hotel. Quero agradecer especialmente ao Tuna e ao André que foram as pessoas que tivemos mais contato, eles foram incríveis e sempre foram extremamente gentis em nos ajudar, quando meu marido machucou o pé caminhando na rua, Tuna imediatamente trouxe uma bolsa de gelo para ajudar ele com a dor, isso foi de muito apreço por mim. Muito obrigada. Sobre o hotel, os quartos são lindos e deslumbrantes, são limpos todos os dias e tudo é reposto. O café da manhã é colossal, tudo muito bem feito, com ingredientes frescos e de qualidade. A localização é simplesmente no meio de um dos cartões postais de Lisboa, a Praça do Comércio. Eu passaria horas aqui elogiando o Staff e o hotel, porque eu simplesmente estou muito agradecida por terem tornado a minha viagem incrível! Sempre voltarei aqui enquanto Deus me permitir! Experiência fantástica: Schönes Hotel, das sich unauffällig in die imposante, prächtig leuchetende Fassade, des in der Form eines rechteckigen U, angelegten Gebäudes, welche die Praça do Comércio umrahmt. Mitten im Herzen Lissabons gelegen, ist man in nur wenigen Fussschritten bereits an der Einkaufsmeile Rua Augusta und auch nur wenige Minuten von Sehenswürdigkeiten wie dem Castelo de São Jorge entfernt. Zu Fuss ist man rasch im wunderschönen Alfama-Bezirk und hat auch gleich noch alle öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel, die einen zum Beispiel nach Belém bringen, vor der Haustür. Das Hotel ist geschmackvoll und stilsicher eingerichtet, das Personal stets freundlich und aufmerksam und das Frühstücksbuffet lässt keine Wünsche offen. Besonders erwähnenswert: die frisch zubereiteten Spezialitäten wie Egg Benedict oder pochiertes Ei auf mit Spinat und Brot an einer leckeren Sauce Bernaise. Das Hotel verfügt zudem über ein leckeres, auf Steak und Wein spezialisiertes, Restaurant mit Bar. Wer die Pfunde wieder loswerden will, besucht das kleine Gym und den Spa-Bereich mit Pool und Sauna. Fazit: Äusserst charmantes Boutique Hotel mit fairem Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Sehr empfehlenswert!

Experiência fantástica: Well appointed hotel in an amazing location right on the Baixa. We got sick while we were staying here (total coincidence—not due to the hotel) and the staff were so kind and really made us feel cared for as we convalesced in our room. For example we tried to rent a movie and encountered an error and the staff went out of their way to contact the vendor whose issue it was and informed us when it had been resolved. The breakfast is also very good and is served in a beautiful palatial dining room.

Experiência positiva: Location is good. Bed is like sleeping on a board and pillow is like a piece of tissue. The hotel provides no assistance with directions to finding the hotel and when we arrived they were not helpful with assistance regarding where to park.

Experiência fantástica: Lovvvvved our stay here. Room was beautiful & elegant & so very quiet despite being in a busy area. Great rainfall shower. Breakfast buffet was delicious & in a gorgeous covered courtyard. Staff were all very kind. We arrived a bit early & tired from a long flight & they accommodated an early check in for us. 10/10 recommend this lovely small, boutique hotel.

Pousadas Pechtanas są inne. Dramat poranny z windami. Totalny brak wind dla staff. Bardzo miło jak zawsze poczęstunek i łóżeczko dla psa. Super.

Experiência negativa: was requesting a full refund for the first night I stayed at the hotel. The room that I got was not as advertised for my booking, but also so noisy I couldn’t sleep at all while I was so tired after my traveling there from US. I wasn’t provided such an essential information that the a/c doesn’t work with an open window! It caused me a night of discomfort. I kept playing with the a/c switch and had to keep the window open because the room was too hot! And the noise from outside was so frustrating! I was confused, tired and in such a discomfort! It’s is supposed to be a five star hotel and I expect a 5 star excellence. Not delivered at all. I wrote several emails asking for a refund for that awful night and I got the final response that it will not be granted. I give them zero stars.

Experiência fantástica: The hotel is a Tardis, much larger than you would expect. Artwork throughout and meticulously maintained. Beautiful with a rooftop area, sheltered with a small number of chairs and tables. Room was smallish but the bed was very comfortable. Larger are available.

Experiência positiva: Location was superb and room was lovely however the bed was absolutely terrible - the worst we have ever slept in. If one of you moves the whole bed moves and feels like you’re in a boat at sea in a storm and disturbs the other person! Felt like sleeping on eggshells and despite mentioning it to the front desk they did nothing (even though they said they would). Resulted in very poor sleep for 5 nights and a bad back. Service in the restaurant on the first morning wasn’t very good with regards to the a la carte breakfast. No one took our order despite sitting and waiting for 45 mins to be served and trying to hail a server. Gave up in the end. Recommend ordering off the menu at the same time as ordering coffee when being seated to your table otherwise no chance! Ate at Rib Beef and Wine one of the nights we stayed. Service was similarly as poor as drinks we ordered at the same as the food didn’t arrive. I could them sitting on the bar for us after we’d eaten our starters for a long time and didn’t arrive until we mentioned it to the manager. Husband’s food was really good but my steak was tough and chewy and the fries were cold and too hard to put a fork into. Very disappointing as it was supposed to be a special celebration meal for my birthday. Overall it was a very disappointing experience at this hotel for a special celebration trip away. Poor value for money.

The only reason for the 4 stars is we booked thru the Pestana group which is hotel and their Luxury transfer is a complete Rip off. Experiência fantástica: Este establecimiento es de lujo, literalmente. El trato del personal es súper amable y servicial. Les pedí no pocos favores y prácticamente me atendieron TODOS. El único problema que tuve fue que no podía abrir con facilidad la ventana de mi cuarto, por estar muy difícil su acceso. Al final lo logré con la empuñadura de mi cepillo del pelo, que eran de madera rígida. Durante la cena, el ambiente era tan tenue que apenas podía ver lo que comía, pero la comida estaba buenísima.

Experiência fantástica: This establishment was amazing. The hotel is a Tardis, much larger than you would expect. Artwork throughout and meticulously maintained. Beautiful with a rooftop area, sheltered with a small number of chairs and tables. Room was smallish but the bed was very comfortable. Larger are available. Our window opened above the street and we have a view of the river. Very quiet room, soundproofing genius. Bathroom is glass enclosed and does not afford much privacy. That aside the establishment is wonderful. The staff of the hotel are the finest, so helpful with whatever questions or requests we made. Upon checking out my wife immediately wanted to return. Highly recommended.

Experiência fantástica: We had a wonderful time at Pousada de Lisboa, Praça do Comércio! The location is right across from a beautiful square, and the water. I feel like it's central to everything: shopping, eating, and you can Uber or taxi anywhere in the city. It was incredibly clean, I felt like the rooms are large, especially by European standards. And the service was on point from check-in all the way through to our check out. They have a great restaurant for steak onsite. I'd stay here again if I come back to Lisbon.

Experiência fantástica: Très bel hôtel, accueil et service au top. C'est beau et luxueux. L'hôtel est super bien placé. Le petit déjeuner est au top, il y a une piscine, salle de sport et massages sur réservation. La chambre est Super propre et confortable. Experiência negativa: The location is amazing but the hotel is not 5 stars. In particular the carpet in the 4th floor was dirty, wear down, and stay dirty for our 3 days stay ( see pics) rooms were not fully clean either. Breakfast was great and included. Rooms were ok but a little hot. When you have a carpet like this you cannot say you are 5 star

Experiência positiva: The receptionist staff reflect poorly on this beautiful hotel and unfortunately they are the first people you encounter which leaves an impression. We found the receptionist to be discourteous, unorganized and unprofessional. The rooms are lovely & clean (great housekeepers), location is perfect and the breakfast service ensures you start your day off correctly which enhanced our vacation. Sophia and her staff do an excellent job and the breakfast buffet selection is well curated. RIB also has great food and offers a great place to relax.

Experiência negativa: This is a lovely hotel with very nice rooms and attentive, friendly, professional, helpful staff. Regrettably, our stay way ruined because of the excessive noise from the public square. There was an extremely loud celebration or festival of some kind just outside the hotel. The beat music made it unbearable to sit out at the hotel restaurant and very unpleasant to sit inside. The music lasted until at least 2 am and made it very difficult to sleep. I do not know if this is a regular occurrence. Nevertheless, it was a serious problem during our stay. The hotel staff was very apologetic, but they offered no adjustment to the room rate. I would not choose this hotel again if my stay coincided with another festival.

Experiência positiva: Wir verreisten über das Pfingstwochenende nach Lissabon und haben bereits Monate zuvor das Hotel auf Booking gebucht. Wir haben das Zimmer nach den Fotos ausgesucht. Beim Check-In wollten sie uns ein sehr kleines Zimmer geben mit einem Miniaturefenster und das für durchschnittlich CHF 475.00 pro Nacht. Als wir belegen konnten, dass wir gemäss Bilder was anderes gebucht haben, kamen sie uns entgegen und gaben uns das gebuchte Zimmer. Dies würde normalerweise CHF 950 pro Nacht kosten. Die Lage des Hotel ist wirklich super, auch wenn bei unserem Aufenthalt der Praça de comercio umgebaut wurde und dementsprechend die Lärmkulisse war. Die Aussicht war schön auf den Platz sowie den Tejo. Das Hotel war altmodisch eingerichtet, die Lobby war dunkel, in den Gängen hat es Teppich und es roch danach. Das Zimmer war ok, aber definitiv nicht den Preis von CHF 950 wert. Die Hotelstaff an der Reception war ausser der ersten Begegnung nach der Erklärung nicht besonders freundlich oder hilfsbereit. Es wurden keine Informationen abgegeben und es wurde kein Willkommens-Gefühl vermittelt. Sie haben auch selten hochgeschaut und gegrüsst. Die Bedienung am Frühstücksbuffet waren freundlich und aufgestellt. Das Frühstück war fein und die Auswahl war gross. Das Gym / Spa Bereich war nie besetzt. Im Gym hatte es nur einmal Wasserflaschen im Kühlschrank, wir trainierten jeweils am Morgen. Es war minimalistisch ausgestattet und eng sowie lieblos eingerichtet. Der Pool und die Sauna waren sehr klein und dunkel. Am Tag des Abfluges mussten wir um 4 Uhr losfahren. Wir haben ein Taxi im Hotel bestellt. Wir wurden weder gefragt, ob sie uns was als Frühstück einpacken sollen etc. Das einzige was es gab, war Kaffee in der Lobby. Jedoch war die Kaffeemaschine nicht eingesteckt und nichts war ready. Nach Lissabon kommen wir sicher wieder, aber sicher nicht in dieses Hotel.

Experiência positiva: The hotel is in a nice place to stay if you are visiting Lisbon. The staff are mostly friendly and the rooms are very good. The amenities of the hotel including the gym/pool and breakfast are both phenomenal and easy to access from any floor. An overall great experience and I will definitely return if I come back to Lisbon!

Experiência positiva: The staff is wonderful, the hotel is lovely but there is construction in front of the hotel limiting access by car so it is a bit of a pain (as of may 2023) The breakfast buffet is great.

Experiência fantástica: 10/10. The location is great, room are cleaned/serviced several times per day if you like. The staff is very friendly and give good recommendations! Give the resturant a try, but even just the breakfast buffet is worth it. Highly recommend.

Experiência fantástica: We did not stay in this lovely hotel in the heart of Lisbon, but we did attend a reception there. The hotel is a beautifully and sensitively adapted historical building. The decor is lovely and there is great attention to detail. Nevertheless, it is comfortable and offers all the necessary modern adaptations so that one is not uncomfortable in any way. The dinner was very well executed and we enjoyed every course. The staff were very well trained, prompt and courteous. It was a very pleasant evening.

Experiência positiva: Para uma experiência de requinte, romântica, negócios, etc., a Pousada de Lisboa não desilude. Às portas de Lisboa mesmo junto á praça do comércio. Quer seja almoço/jantar, ou estadia. A atenciosidade do staff é muito acima da média, extrema simpatia, os pormenores são valorizados, tanto na zona de bar, como no restaurante. As infraestruturas de apoio estão alinhadas também com o nivel deste. A arquitetura é requintada moderna/contemporânea, com uma energia histórica sempre presente, acolhedora e nada foi deixado ao acaso, como por exemplo a iluminação, relaxante, a limpeza global, a disposição. O património histórico está também presente/referenciado nos corredores da pousada. Não vão ficar indiferentes á zona exterior para refeições é linda, fresca e desanuviante. A experiência gastronómica é acima da média em termos de sabor, mas pode melhorar, especialmente pelo valor e por toda a envolvente. As entradas disponíveis são boas, mas não parecem alinhadas com o nível de toda a experiência. Os pratos principais disponíveis são óptimos. As sobremesas óptimas. As bebidas á disposição, estão ao nível. No final, não vão ficar desiludidos e vão querer voltar.

Experiência fantástica: Very very large hotel with impressive corridors, reception areas, patios - they make you feel like you are in a historic building or museum. The room was large, clean, the bed super comfortable and in reception and services, everything was perfect. Yummy breakfast on a beautiful patio and they surprised me with a special treat for my birthday :) - really unexpected! The location is perfect for enjoying the city by foot, it's the best place to stay in Lisbon. Thank you all!

Experiência fantástica: Fantastic location and outlook across the large plaza to the river. Very polite and helpful staff. Sonia and her team in the restaurant where amazing, going over and above to make our stay special. The hotel is small and beautifully decorated. Such a great change from the large impersonal hotels. We didn't use the gym or small indoor pool but I'm sure it is a welcome addition especially in the cooler seasons. Highly recommend this hotel if you're looking for a bit of understated luxury and charm.

Experiência positiva: The condition of this hotel is very bad, you can see the picture I did not like it at all, I really hate insects and I had to tolerate them in this hotel. Next time I am not going to stay in this hotel at all, here insects spoiled my whole night, insects kept crawling on me at night and my sleep got disturbed.

Experiência fantástica: Beautiful building in an outstanding location. We were in walking distance of just about anything we wanted to see and do. The staff was very friendly and professional. The reception/concierge staff, Rita, Maŕcio and Diogo were especially helpful. The breakfast had plenty of choices, with many local specialties. Ours was an upgraded room so it was roomy and had many of the amenities you would expect from a finer hotel. The standard room seemed smallish. There was a small pool and exercise area but my favorite was the rooftop relaxing area. We couldn't have asked for a better experience.

Experiência negativa: Be very careful here. This photo is what they mean by a "Spectacular view" in their superior room - it was a view of a grey wall. We got a refund and went elsewhere. Handled badly by the manager who tried to argue a postage stamp size window was the description attached. Best advice is to see the room before you buy.

Experiência fantástica: Magnifique hôtel, décoré avec goût et raffinement. Le personnel est vraiment aux petits soins, merci à eux. L'hôtel est tres bien placé au coeur de Lisbonne, à côté des transports, parfait. Le restaurant accolé à l'hôtel est excellent avec un très bon rapport qualité/ prix. Nous avions réservé et avons eu une très bonne table un peu à l'écart, parfait pour célébrer nos 30 ans de rencontre.

The front desk people are all very helpful (from helping me pay for a taxi who didn’t accept credit cards and charging it to my room to printing out my bus ticket). My room was spacious and the bed and pillows were very comfortable. The gym is small but functional. Note that the pool was not available during my stay in August 2021. Location is across from Praco Commercial and about 10-15 minutes walking to Barrio Alto or Alfama.

Calidad precio muy caro, siendo en realidad un 4 estrellas, como mucho. Destacar el Restaurante RIB, lo mejor del hotel, sin duda.
