Somananda, a spiritual yogi, lecturer, teacher and author, is the founder and head teacher of Somananda Tantra School - an international organisation devised to offer personal spiritual development through the ancient science of authentic Tantra Yoga.

Liisa Maimon, a spiritual teacher and yogini, is an advanced teacher with Somananda Tantra School, an international organization offering spiritual development through the ancient sciences of Tantra and Yoga.

Growing up in a Christian family, Siegbert turned to religious studies in his youth to answer the essential questions in life. Ironically, his search eventually led him to the teachings of Yoga, which he discovered answered the questions that his religion left ambiguous.

In her early years Maria led what she would describe as a racy and provocative lifestyle. She chalked it up to typical rebellious behavior that many people engage in in their college years and early 20’s. Life was good and she was embracing the fun and excitement of being independent. But still, she was often left feeling empty and unfulfilled.

Laila was raised in a mixed Islamic and Christian household in London, England. She recalls experiencing spiritual phenomena such as having visions and hearing voices as a child but was too young to make sense of it. She often wondered if they were genuine spiritual experiences or a result of imagination and fantasy.

Up until the age of 25, Lucila lived a conventional lifestyle in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She attended university, obtaining a degree in Food Processing and Engineering, and before putting her knowledge in practice, she went for the first time on a trip that would change the course of her life forever.

Tiffany’s early years were defined by a more traditional and scientific approach to education and training. She is a certified pilates teacher and anatomy specialist with over 16 years experience, who applied a revolutionary approach to the alleviation of chronic pain naturally through biomechanics, archetypal postures and movement re-education.

Born in Israel in 1977 and the brother of Somananda, our founder, Dharmananda could be described as a modern-day “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon” of Yoga.
