Experiência positiva: Acho que deveriam melhorar um pouco a ventilação do espaço,uma vez que quando entrei pela 1⁰ vez veio um cheiro um bocado mau,mas de resto é um ótimo ginásio com todos os aparelhos
Experiência fantástica: As I planned to stay in Lagos for two months I researched online before I arrived, I contacted the owner via email a few months prior and he explained in detail about membership etc, gym is very well equipped, clean and tidy, the locals are friendly, if any training or nutritional advice is required Andre the knowledgeable owner, is only to willing to assist, great gym highly recommended, and I hope to revisit soon. Thank you.

Experiência negativa: It is not a public gym. I went to this gym based on the reviews. Unfortunately, there are no day passes or similar options available. This should perhaps be deleted or marked as such. It would have saved me the trip.

If you had read the business description instead of the reviews, you would have seen that the first statement is announcing us as a private gym, a members only club and that would have saved you the trip.

Experiência fantástica: NO DAY PASSES - MEMBERSHIPS ONLY Didn’t actually train but just letting traveler’s know it’s a private gym, went this afternoon and was politely instructed of such. Saw it was listed as a private gym on their Facebook but honestly didn’t make sense to me as all gyms are technically private establishments. Thought I’d try my luck, to no avail.

Experiência fantástica: Best gym I’ve ever been to without a doubt. If you’re looking for a gym and want serious results, look no further.. So many different quality machines, that no other gym in the area has. It’s got everything you need, you name it, this gym has it. Great friendly atmosphere. André the owner, is also very passionate and knowledgeable about the sport and always there to help if necessary.

Experiência fantástica: André is a gentleman to deal with. Love the gym there is a proper personal & family feel to the Gym . The handshakes and fist pumps from André on arrival & between members during sets creates a great atmosphere to train in. A lot of gyms claim they have the best equipment but André actually has invested in the best Equipment (Watson) which you can see in the level of athletes that train here. Sam

Such a "useful" review.
A quick online search would have shown you that we were stating the obvious. That we are a private training facility, a members only club. So you not being a member aren't allowed to use our facilities and services. Nevertheless we were helpful enough to point you the public gyms in the area.
Experiência negativa: As I am on holidays in Lagos I wanted to have a session in a gym close to my hotel. I went to this one and they informed me it was a private facility and didn't accept me. It is a bit surprising as it is not described as such in here. Or maybe I am mistaken or missed something in the website translation?
Actually if you take a look at the business description, you will find stated that we are a private training facility a members only club. Not seeing that and not getting in contact with us prior to see us. We believe that we were polite explaining you in person and we even pointed you where you could find other gyms in the area.
We believe that everyone would understand that if they are not a member, they can't experience our gym. So what does your review reflect?

As stated everywhere and as it was explained to you in person. We are a private training facility. By private it means you either a member and you have acess. Or you've not, and you're not allowed in. Regardless one's nationally. So your comment it's completely inappropriate.
We believe that we were polite explaining you in person and we even pointed you where you could find other gyms in the area.

Experiência positiva: FOR TOURISTS: you CAN NOT ENTER! I wish someone would have made this clear for me before I walked all the way here. Even post COVID you can't get in. I begged and pleaded but it's a hard NO. Go to LIFT FITNESS LAGOS instead where they do accept tourists (and it's 10 times bigger)

If you had messaged us, we would have informed you and you had avoided getting out of your way. Second. Aqui Treina-se is a private members only, gym. It has the best machines you could ever ask for, for all kinds of exercises and their quality is impressive. As it is for members only it's never too crowded, which is great because it allows you to really focus on your workout. I feel like this gym is almost like a community of people who are really serious and passionate about bodybuilding and if you also fit into this category then don't even think twice, this is the right gym for you. Please ignore the 1/2/3 star reviews, since they were all written by people who are not members and therefore haven't even tried the gym, they were only looking for daily/weekly passes, hence their reviews. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Português: eu experimentei 3 ginasios em Lagos e este é, sem sobre de dúvida, o melhor. Tem as melhores máquinas que alguém poderia pedir, para todos os tipos de exercícios e a sua qualidade é impressionante. Como é apenas para membros nunca está sobrelotado, o que é excelente porque permite que nos concentremos a sério no nosso treino. Eu sinto que este ginásio é quase como uma comunidade de pessoas que são verdadeiramente apaixonadas por bodybuilding e levam essa prática a sério, e se tu também te inseres nessa categoria então nem penses duas vezes, este é o ginásio certo para ti. Por favor ignora as críticas de 1/2/3 estrelas, já que todas elas foram escritas por pessoas que não são membros e portanto nunca experimentaram o ginásio, elas queriam apenas passes diários/semanais, daí terem escrito essas avaliações. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

It's also easy to check that the very few low star reviews we do get only come from individuals who we unfortunately have to turn away and are unable to use the facilities due to our membership rules. Experiência fantástica: Klasse Studio mit vielen Geräten, die es auch so in herkömmlichen Studios in Deutschland gar nicht gibt. Allerdings sind auch die 'Basic-Geräte' vorhanden. Kurzhanteln weit über 50kg vertreten. Ich war echt sehr positiv überrascht, vor allem über den old-school Flair, der dort herrschte. Der Besitzer ist super freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Preise sind mehr als fair. Ich würde mir mehr solcher Studios in Deutschland wünschen, die sich intensiv um das Wohl der Mitglieder bzw. Besucher bemühen und nicht nur aus kommerziellen Gründen ins Studio locken. Ich komme gerne wieder. Obrigado!

Experiência fantástica: Alles da um den Grundübungen nachzugehen. Ebenso gibt es Kabel- und Latzüge, sowie diverse Geräte in verschiedenen Ausführungen. Der Preis für ein Training (5€) sehr fair, das Wochenenticket für 20€, wenn’s ein wenig mehr Drill im Urlaub sein soll. Ggf. vorher in den nahegelegenen Supermarkt, um sich einen Postworkoutshake zu holen, den gibt es hier nicht.

Fantastic variety of exercise equipment from high quality dumbbells to unique cable and plate loaded machines and every resistance band you could ever need. An environment for serious training to get serious results. The owner's knowledge on training protocols, nutrition and biomechanics is second to none. Whether you want to trim down or gain some head turning muscle this is the place to do it. Highly recommend!

Experiência fantástica: A class studio with many devices, which does not even exist in conventional studios in Germany. However, the 'basic devices' are also available. Dumbbells far over 50kg represented. I was really very positively surprised, especially about the old-school flair that prevailed there. The owner is super friendly and helpful. The prices are more than fair. I would like to see more such studios in Germany, which intensively strive for the well-being of the members and / or visitors and lure not only for commercial reasons into the studio. Experiência fantástica: Sendo de Lisboa e depois de já ter frequentado vários ginásios, assim que fiz uma pequena pesquisa relativamente à oferta na zona de Lagos este chamou-me logo à atenção. Depois de chegar ao local fui bem recebido e todas as minhas dúvidas foram ouvidas. O ginásio tem máquinas muito boas e aparentemente não falta nada. Fiquei surpreso pela quantidade de máquinas que nunca tinha visto na vida. O ambiente é acolhedor e o estilo old school é chamativo (pelo menos para mim). Vou fazer uma temporada no Algarve e continuarei a frequentar este estabelecimento. Recomendo vivamente. Living in Lisbon and after going to several gyms around Lisbon I can tell you I'm impressed positively. The prices are fair, the ambience is great and the machines are even better. If you like to push your limits this is the right place for you. I bet you'll be surprised by the amount of machines you never have seen before. Don't think twice, just go and get some gains !
