Experiência fantástica: Maravillosa experiencia en el Ocean Blue!! Nos quedamos en un apartamento precioso de dos habitaciones, donde no le faltaba ningún detalle, una cocina integrada con el salón con todo lo necesario si te apetece cocinar y un jardín privado con una pequeña piscina y muchas plantas. Tambien su zona común con una gran piscina con hamacas, zonas de descanso y barbacoa y todo ello acompañado de unas vistas espectaculares! Totalmente ideal para desconectar del día a día. La atención de los anfitriones Sean y Lucy fue maravillosa, también su hija Sophia, unas personas increibles!! Dimos un paseo por la impresionante costa de Lagos en su barco y fue impresionante, sin palabras!! También tienen un montón de propuestas de actividades en el mar y la montaña. Si vas a el Algarve sin duda tienes que visitar Ocean Blue, no te dejará indiferente!! Gracias Sean y Lucy por una estancia tan hermosa.

Experiência fantástica: I booked a private SeaSafari with Lucy and her team for my group of 9 yogis on retreat and it was the best decision ever! We had the most amazing time. The boat is spacious, team is knowledgeable of the area, and they even took photos/videos of us paddle boarding through the grottoes. 10/10 recommend!

Experiência fantástica: Absolutely stunning location, spotless accommodation with a lovely sea themed vibe, and so many optional activities, which I very much enjoyed. I was part of a yoga retreat party and Lucy was so helpful and went out of her way with the extras provided. Bergau is so appealing and plenty of restaurants and cafes 10 minutes walk away.

Experiência fantástica: Oceanblue Active, just 5 minutes from Bergau is in a magical spot, with lovely accomodation around a beautiful pool. I loved the activities on offer, Mountain Biking was a new one for me, I'll definitely be back! The boat trip with paddling boarding was magical and trekking along the coast was a perfect way to spend a morning. I'd highly recommend staying at Oceanblue Active and definitely go back.

Experiência fantástica: Great Morning spent with Sean and Lucy. We have a holiday home just across the way from them and noticed the great activities and tours they offer. We booked with them a 3 hours bike ride as a family of 4. The bikes we hired was brilliant and made it easy for us to navigate around Burgau and surrounding areas through the forest and along the cliff top with some of the most amazing views of the ocean. Sean and Lucy were great fun to hang out with too! We very much looking forward to our next trip with them in the summer on their private sea Safari tour. Experiência fantástica: We stayed at Ocean Blue Active at the beginning of November, we were truly blessed with the weather being a lovely 22 degrees. We were also blessed with our apartment, light airy and inviting equipped with everything you need for a fuss free holiday. Beds were very comfortable and a lovely lounging set on the patio, perfect! Around the villa there is a salt water pool which was amazing for early morning dips, communal bbq and mini bar area, the whole place was spotlessly clean. As well as a very warm welcome from Lucy and Sean we were always greeted on arrival by Bono and Foxy the lovely family dogs, we loved them! There are lots of activities available from mountain biking, yoga, snorkelling, paddle boarding and boat trips. We went out on Sean’s Catamaran and explored the caves, paddle boarding in the sea from the boat and a highlight for the children they got to jump off the roof of the boat!! If you’re looking for an active holiday or a relaxing one Ocean Blue is truly an unique place and can cater for all, would highly recommend this place in beautiful Portugal and we will 100% return! Thank you to Lucy & Sean for making our stay a memorable one.

Experiência fantástica: Ocean Blue Active is an amazing place to stay. We had an incredible week for half term and left feeling totally rejuvenated. The accommodation is really lovely with a great kitchen and outdoor seating area (as well as indoor). The apartment is lovely and fresh and light. The outdoor Pool is wonderful as is the communal bbq and bar area. We were a family of 4 and it was perfect for us. Lucy and Sean offer some amazing activities which we loved. We did the half day mountain bike trail, as well as the boat trip with snorkelling and paddle boarding. I also did some runs through the hills with Lucy which were pretty breath taking. I also did some Pilates by the pool in the morning which was such a bonus. We thought Ocean Blue provided the perfect balance for the family - I got to do some great activities and my hubbie got to relax by the pool with our younger daughter. All in all an awesome week and we will return as we all loved it so much. If you are thinking of booking it then DO IT!!

Experiência fantástica: We did a Sea Safari with OceanBlue and it was the highlight of our trip for everyone in our group (who ranged from 2 years old to 74!). Lucy was responsive and it super easy to make arrangements. On the day of our trip, Lucy and Sean went out of their way to make us feel at home - the trip was totally personal, and the boat is wonderful. Couldn’t recommend more!

Experiência fantástica: Just spent a long weekend with Lucy and Shaun guiding us over miles and miles of magnificent terrain on their mountain bikes. We stopped at some lovely cafes and restaurants for some local seafood and enjoyed some stunning views. Lucy can tailor the route to suit your goals and fitness levels and is so familiar with the local trails, she will always have a plan B in mind if you run out of steam. Lovely people, great bikes, beautiful views and if course, plenty of sun :-) Would highly recommend.

Experiência fantástica: A wonderful week spent with Lucy and Sean and Sophia at Ocean Blue back in December 2019. Perfect accommodation, warm and comfy, and lots to do in the local area. A boat trip to see the dolphins off the edge of Europe, a walk through weird and wonderful artwork in the hills, a hike along the coast to the sound of crashing waves below, a visit to the fish market in Bispo and a tour of some of the most perfect beaches we’ve ever seen out to the west. Great hosts, knowledgable and friendly, and great location for some winter sun and adventure.

Experiência fantástica: Wir sind jetzt schon einige Male Gäste bei OceanBlue Active gewesen und es ist immer wieder richtig gut! Die letzte Tour haben wir vor der Haustür begonnen und sind vom OceanBlue Active zu Fuß nach Lagos zum Hafen gelaufen. Eine wunderschöne Tour an der Küste und kurz durch Luz durch. Es gibt einige wenige steile Anstiege, aber eigentlich ist die Tour sehr gut begehbar und mit schöner Aussicht. Wir werden hoffentlich noch einige Male dort zu Gast sein ... wir würden am liebsten jeden Monat dort einige Tage verbringen, immer wieder wunderschön.

Experiência fantástica: Wir waren Ende Oktober für 9 Tage hier und hatten eine super Zeit. Die Apartments sind sehr schön eingerichtet, sauber und super hell. Die Lage ist der Hammer - man hat den ganzen Tag Sonne und einen schönen Blick aufs Meer. Auch für genug Schattenplätze ist gesorgt. Klare Empfehlung hier Urlaub zu machen.

Experiência fantástica: We just spent a week at Ocean Blue Active and had a great time. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip out on the boat, getting the opportunity to try our hand at paddle boarding and swimming in the ocean. I enjoyed morning yoga and pilates with Lucy. We were a bit disappointed that we were unable to go bike riding partially due to the high winds that week. Our accommodation was excellent and Lucy went out of her way to make us comfortable. We would definitely return for another vacation!

Experiência fantástica: We started at their villa on the top of the hill and cycled over to the 'avocado farm' and back on a circular route via fields, woodlands and (much-needed) coffee and lunch. It was about 30km in all, which is more than I've done before. And even though I'm a fan of pancake flat cycle-ways, the hills were achievable (apparently this route has easy hills), the bikes brilliant and Lucy & Sean were really helpful in helping me figure out cycling up these "easy hills" rather than walking up them... I ended the day having seen more of the area than i would normally have done on my stay and with a sense of achievement!

If you are into running they can take you on some great running trails too, or you can start your day with Pilates and Boot Camp by the pool. Plenty of winter sun and glorious days - what's not to love?!

Experiência fantástica: Went on a fabulous boat trip with Lucy and Sean. Amazing trip, really enjoyed it. You can try paddle boarding, snorkelling or just swim in the ocean. They also do coastal walks and run a boot camp which we will try next time. Thank you guys.

Experiência fantástica: We have now experienced Ocean Blue Active in both summer and winter. Both have their charm, because the sun shines here in the Algarve for many hours a day all year round. Lucy and Sean are wonderful hosts. They are very welcoming and always happy to help. Our appartment was very clean and was equipped with everything we needed. And when you sit on the sofa in the morning, look out over the pool and enjoy the sunrise over the sea, you know you've come to the right place. The area around the appartments can be explored very well by bike. Great routes with varying degrees of difficulty start right on the doorstep. And Lucy and Sean know the area and are excellent guides at all times. We also really enjoyed the excursion with Sean's catamaran. It's great to explore the gorgeous beaches and hidden caves that you can't reach from the mainland. All in all, we feel really comfortable here in Ocean Blue Active and will definitely come back again and again. :)

Experiência fantástica: The various mountain bike trails from Sean and Lucy's place have something for everyone. We blasted out through the cork tree trails, then made our way up and down the cliff tops above those glorious sandy beaches you keep seeing in the piccies, and there's always a decent coffee to be had along the way. Loved it.

Experiência fantástica: Great half day cruise with Lucy and Sean on their spacious boat with stand-up paddle boards. We started with some close up encounters with the caves beneath the lighthouse near Lagos, great photos of our group of 8 taken and shared by Lucy while Sean skilfully steered the boat into the smallest spaces. We then headed for the inlet at Alvor where the sea is warmer and flatter, and 4 of us had our first taste of SUP under the tuition of Lucy. That was really good fun and all of our party then had time for a good swim. It was a very relaxing friendly morning and we will be back next year for sure. Thanks to Lucy and Sean for creating a lovely atmosphere such that one of our party who has a fear of water actually had a short swim, and another with a fear of heights joined all of us on the top sundeck. We highly recommend OceanBlue Active.

The location is beautiful and peaceful and the apartments are stylish, comfortable and kitted out with everything you could possibly need. You can simply relax by the dazzling salt water pool or take part in guided activities including mountain biking, paddle-boarding, Lucy’s beach boot camp or the real highlight, a trip around the coast on their fabulous 11m catamaran. Lovely hosts, amazing location, a truly unique holiday experience!

The appartments are very nice with all shades of white and blue, the pool is amazing for both play and actually swim laps and the view over the village and the sea is beautiful. Lucy, Sean and Sophia are great hosts who took us for a boat trip from Lagos to a beautiful beach behind the rocks, where we did paddleboarding and snorkeling. We also went on a mountainbike tour through the inlands, Lucy went out of her way to help our youngest get over her fear and cycle along. And she convinced us of early morning bootcamp and yoga at the pool, what a great start of the day! Burgau is a very charming small village with a beautiful beach, streets like on postcards and great little restaurants. And delicious take away coffees, smoothies and sandwiches right next to the small supermarket that make for a perfect strand picknick. We had difficulties to leave and already are planning for returning. Thank you Lucy, Sean and Sophia for the great time!

Experiência fantástica: I booked OceanBlue Active for a 3 week stay this February, which turned into 6 amazing weeks. Clean, cosy, bright and modern- the Laguna apartment is truly a home away from home! As a solo traveller, OceanBlue Active had everything I was looking for- great views, clean pool, private terraces (yet amazing company if I felt like socialising!). It is also within walking distance to Burgau beach/ shops and surrounded by great walking and cycling trails- a perfect base to explore both South and Vicentine Coasts! Lucy and Sean are kind and generous hosts -all round fabulous- and I would recommend their apartments and outdoor activities to anyone in a heartbeat. You won't be disappointed!

The apartments and pool are beautiful and very clean with an incredible view of the sea. Lucy is taking great precaution during covid-19 and was very accommodating for our last minute trip. We felt very safe during our entire stay, and had some lovely meals out in local Burgau and Salema on her recommendation. Highly recommend for couples or families, we’ll be back!

Experiência fantástica: Just got back from a weekend of mountain biking with Ocean Blue guiding us. We (8 middle aged men in lycra) had a fantastic weekend riding around the Algarve lead by Lucy and Sean, the area is unspoilt and very rugged. Most of the time we were shadowed by the wind turbines! We covered over 70miles in just over 2 days discovered the beautiful beaches of the West coast. Lucy is very knowledgeable about the area and was very keen for us to discover the some of the single tracks. She ensured we all kept together and at a pace we all could maintain. Their base has dominating view of the surrounding area with a lovely swimming pool to cool off in after hard days riding. Thanks once again to Lucy & Sean to make it very memorable weekend. Experiência fantástica: We had a great stay at Ocean Blue Portugal with our (young) family. The location is great and the setting is really beautiful. The apartments are in top shape and the pool is so nice! Burgau is a lovely town with plenty of nice restaurants and the beaches nearby are awesome. But best of all are the people at Ocean Blue. Lucy took us on great bike tours in the beautiful countryside. Sean taught us how to surf in the clear blue waves of Burgau and Zaviar beach. We had the best time. Cannot wait to get back there to enjoy this beautiful spot. Highly recommended

The beach was a short walk away, the restaurants were fantastic, gorgeous fresh fish locally caught, even the little cafes served great food. We’re quite an adventurous family & so loved all of the activities on offer, Lucy was great & inspired us to see lots of the beautiful surrounding countryside on bikes & SUP boards. A thoroughly enjoyable break away 10/10 ⭐️ a special thank you to Sophia who inspired our little boy to stand up on a surfboard for the first time :)

Experiência fantástica: Fantastic accomadation and wonderful hosts , Sean & Lucy are top of their game in providing a holiday with plenty of adventure and fun , catering for all ages , they provide water activities which include surfing, stand up paddle boarding and boat trips around the iconic caves of Lagos and also trail bike riding around the scenic hills and coast of the local area . They are both extremely knowledgeable and able to teach and provide a safe experience to learn these new skills . At the accommodation we found everything to be user friendly , very comfortable ,modern and clean .There is a big swimming pool with loungers around to relax and a nice bbq area to cook and socialise. The WiFi is great at the accommodation and even on most of the beaches there is 4g which is important if you need to be in contact . The Western Algarve is such a wonderful part of the world to just chill out and just go with the flow . See you next year and thanks for a great experience

Experiência fantástica: We stayed in one of Lucy and Sean's apartments and were lucky enough to join Lucy on paddle boarding, boat trip and snorkelling, mountain biking and surfing trips. She is a wonderful host, instructor and just is an infectious life enthusiast, ensuring we came back from every activity covered in smiles. Everything was provided and Lucy was particularly brilliant at tailoring activities to ability and ages I.e our teens could paddle board long before the 49 year old with a dodgy back. Cannot recommend highly enough. We will be back.

Experiência fantástica: I recently went Paddleboarding with Lucy from OceanBlue Active! I was lucky enough to be the only person booked in so I got a 1:1 lesson from Lucy! Due to Lucy’s clear instructions and excellent knowledge of technique and skill, I picked up paddle boarding really easily! We boarded from Salema beach down the coastline and enjoyed wonderful views, before stopping at a beach for refreshments! Lucy was really friendly and I had a super morning out on the water! I would highly recommend Lucy for any of the excursions she runs and will definitely be going back!

Experiência fantástica: Definitely would recommend this to anyone who wants to explore the area by bike or by boat. Equipment is also at a high standard which nobody seemed to have any problems with. Staff are also very friendly and the accommodation is modern with great views. Would definitely visit again!
