Yoga Room - Lisbon

Experiência negativa: I initially enjoyed Yoga Room—the space is clean, spacious, and the classes were good, even if sometimes too crowded. However, my last experience was extremely disappointing. I was not even 10 minutes late for a class due to unavoidable public transport delays, and the receptionist refused to let me in, despite it being a Saturday afternoon and me ready in my gear. It wasn’t even a yoga class but an aerobic session where entering discreetly wouldn’t have disturbed anyone. To make matters worse, the receptionist’s condescending attitude was upsetting and unnecessary. As a ClassPass user, I was unfairly penalized—either lose my credits (9) or pay a €14 no-show fee, despite physically being at the studio. This rigid and unsympathetic policy is unacceptable. There are plenty of other studios in Lisbon with more welcoming and understanding staff, and I’ve been advising my friends to avoid this place. I won’t be returning and will take my membership elsewhere.

Experiência negativa: Schade, komplette Massenabfertigung. Zwischen einet und der anderen Matte sind gefühlt 2cm Abstand und bei jeder Position muss man zuerst aufpassen, nicht seinen Nachbarn zu stoßen. Die Yin Klasse mit Beth war an sich sehr gut, aber das Studio kann ich absolut nicht weiter empfehlen. Personal war ziemlich unhöflich und nicht hilfsbereit wenn ich gefragt habe wo ich mich anmelden kann.

Experiência negativa: Stalker, Creepy, Agressive is the words to describe Pedro from the reception! This person doesn’t now to separate work from personal live! He is a friend of my ex that has mental issues, so she try to intimidate my girlfriend in the studio, but not only that, PEDRO WAS CHASING her in the street to intimidate her after the class! He LEFT THE STUDIO TO FOLLOW HER ON THE STREET TO INTIMIDATE AND EMBARRASS her! The thing is that I meet her in the street so I was the one who talk with this disgusting person What do you think of a studio where the guy who works in the reception, with clients, chase and intimidate their costumers (in especially girls) Not mentioning the fact that this guy, always enter in the females bathroom to close the studio before the real time that says it closes! This man should be punished and will not even mention the fact that he needs to be fired! That’s a shame! When you plan to do yoga, only think you need is peace of mind. Not mentally ill people who use their small power to inflict psychological terror on others. Please review the meaning of your business

Experiência fantástica: The best yoga studio I have had the opportunity to practice at. Super friendly people at reception, variety of classes that allows everyone find something what they currently need the most. In addition, despite the fact that the studio is located in the centre, you can relax there while waiting for classes, sipping delicious tea and listening to the birds singing from the small garden that belongs to studio. Facilities are also amazing, the best quality mats, natural hygene products in the bathrooms, small candles everywhere. The teachers are professional and the best in their field of yoga. You can learn a lot from each of these individuals! Thank you for creating such a beautiful place that calms the spirit and gives additional space in the body after each class.

Experiência fantástica: I have been doing yoga for a couple of years now and have been to studios all over Europe and Asia. I have to say that yoga room Lisbon is one of the best studios that I’ve been too. It has a large variety of classes to choose from with different yoga styles that are most often not offered elsewhere. The teachers are incredibly kind and encouraging. For anyone living in Lisbon or visiting for a few days I would recommend to visit yoga room.

I was looking for a place where I could practice not only yoga but also to feel a relief. And for sure, it's the place where you can turn off ur mind and heal yourself. Good thing that they have different options for passes. U can do one-time class or unlimited, which allows you to enjoy it whenever and how much you want. I started my experience with a Discovery pass with unlimited access to all the classes. It gave me an opportunity firstly to explore the place and decide if it's exactly what I was looking for, and wanna tell that it is. I'm satisfied with my choice and gonna practice and learn more with yoga room. Highly recommend to come, to try and to enjoy this unbelievable place and atmosphere.

The classes usually are not fully booked except for the hot yoga and warm restorative classes. The free 'bring a friend' concept is great too!

Experiência fantástica: Um espaço que me recebe sempre com um sorriso e simpatia. Mal entramos sentimos um cheiro a incenso e que nos altera instantaneamente para um mindset calmo. Todo o ambiente e decoração mistura materiais no seu estado mais autêntico e que se balanceiam entre si, o betão e a madeira convidando-nos a entrar também nesse equilíbrio. É irresistível não querer tirar uma foto que seja a cada canto ou pormenor. No lounge podemos relaxar a beber um chá enquanto lê-mos os livros e revistas sobre o yoga que nos disponibilizam. No entanto o melhor de tudo são sem dúvida os professores, as correntes de yoga e a quantidade de aulas disponíveis. Como estou a iniciar a minha prática falei logo com o professora Gabi com algum receio de não conseguir acompanhar a aula, o que não aconteceu. Embora as aulas sejam exigentes o que permite a alunos mais avançados se desafiarem, são constantemente dadas alternativas mais simples e é incentivada sempre uma prática consciente e construída de uma forma segura. A professora Gabi é incrível! A sua voz doce acalma qualquer um e está sempre disponível para qualquer questão sem qualquer julgamento. Com horários ao longo de todo o dia e com imensas aulas diferentes não há espaço para não gostar. Recomendo o unlimited pass porque é muito fácil ficar viciada e querer experimentar tudo.

Experiência negativa: Nunca mais volto ao studio e perderam várias alunas por uma situação que aconteceu comigo: Um funcionário e aluna foram contra todos os ensinamentos que aprendi nas aulas de yoga. No sábado fui EXTREMAMENTE desrespeitada pelo funcionário Pedro e por uma aluna que fizeram questão de me HUMILHAR e ridicularizar na saída da aula. A situação foi: uma outra pessoa não poderia comparecer a aula que marcou e fui no lugar dela para ela evitar de pagar cancelamento. Por mais errada que estivesse, fui ridicularizada, humilhada e intimidada cara a cara pelo funcionário Pedro e aluna a qual NÃO CONHEÇO. Momentos após eu me retirar do studio, o funcionário ainda tentou me abordar na rua e tentar esclarecer. Revoltado e grosseiro!!!! Além disto, ja presenciei este mesmo funcionário entrar no banheiro feminino para expulsar alunas pois estava “perto” de fechar o studio. Não é a primeira nem segunda vez que ele foi grosseiro comigo, sem contar os relatos que ja tive com amigas e outros alunos que também não voltarão a frequentar o yoga room. Espero que a energia que circule no studio seja de amor e compaixão, pois as aulas são incríveis e almejam ter carinho e respeito pelo próximo. Frequentava, gostava e recomendei muito aos meus amigos mas agora não recomendo nunca mais. Namaste!

Il planning dei corsi è completo: ci sono lezioni a qualunque ora del giorno e per qualunque livello. Inoltre, la maggior parte dei corsi è in inglese quindi puoi frequentare lo studio anche se non parli portoghese! Lo consiglio a tutti! Anche a chi, come me, non ha mai praticato yoga.

After living 6 years in the UK I thought my yoga experience would be unmatched but I was wrong! Friendly and professional teachers from different backgrounds, amazing staff, a great variety of practices available, and above all, the venue is beautiful. I really like the fact that there is a "Hot Room" allowing you to have all the benefits from "Hot Yoga" practice. And cherry on top, a few classes in Portuguese, which I think is a plus to learn the language. Obrigada Yoga Room, you're the best ❤️

Beautiful space, fantastic instructors and incredible welcoming staff. Whether you speak English or Portuguese you will find many options for all types of fantastic classes. Experiência positiva: Really beautiful and well kept facilities in a really accessible location of the city. People are friendly and you can find some really good teachers. I wish the management of the classes would not allow so many people at any give time because the studio gets really crowded and there is often only a few inches between your mat and the next person’s one. It would also be nicer to have more classes being offered and at different times.

Experiência fantástica: Fantastic new yoga studio that has opened a couple of months ago near Saldhana in Lisbon. It’s a beautiful space, very clean and well maintained and decorated. Changing rooms with lockers and showers. There is a kitchen with infused water and hot tea. Yoga books available for reading on site. The classes are very varied, taught in English and also Portuguese. I personally love Rebecca’s yin yoga class and can only recommend it. If you like to do hot yoga, they’ve got you covered as well. Try Muriel’s hot stretch class. Lovely staff all around and social gatherings happening in the common spaces after class. A great spot all around. Try one of their taster offers and find out for yourself!

Experiência fantástica: Yoga room is just what was lacking for the Lisbon yoga community. For me its been a blessing for the fact that as I do not have a fixed work schedule, this allows me to choose from several timing a day. That way I can keep up a regular yoga practice. All the teachers are a-mazing, and I start to enjoy the Hot room as well. The facility is minimalist, efficient and very friendly.

Experiência fantástica: did the 30 day discovery pass while staying in lisbon for 6 weeks. the teachers were wonderful! the classes were great (although i wish there were more of them throughout the day). huge props to the non-teaching staff that runs the front desk, greets everyone with a smile, and keeps the studios super nice and supplied, along with tea and water in the waiting area.
