Experiência fantástica: Tennis -I found the staff, coaches and members help full, friendly and fun. I signed on for the 1 week intensive tennis training course, consisting of 6 private lessons and 6 members open classes across Monday to Saturday. Although disrupted by Storm Claudia on the last 3 days. The coaches went above and beyond to fit my private lessons in around the rain and my return to the UK, ensuring that the courts were safe to play. The facilities at the courts were great, nice coffee shop and terrace. Thanks Everyone - I had a great time and hope to see you all again.

Experiência negativa: Great concept, but in need of serious maintenance and investment I spent 10 days at The Campus at Quinta do Lago in October 2025. Overall, it’s an amazing setup with excellent facilities — padel, tennis, gym, pool, and running paths. The concept is fantastic, but it’s becoming noticeable that the place is no longer brand new and could use a refresh. If I were a permanent member, I’d definitely be urging management to reinvest and bring it back to true 5-star standards. The Good Dano’s Restaurant: Excellent food quality and taste. The allergy information on the menu was incredibly helpful — my son has soy and peanut allergies, and this made dining stress-free. Dano’s Staff: Super friendly and welcoming. We went there almost daily for food and drinks. Pool Area: Nice overall atmosphere and good layout. Gym Facilities: Fantastic setup with two large gym spaces (upper and lower level) offering a wide range of equipment. The Bad Gym Equipment: While the gym itself is spacious and well laid out, the standard of the machines isn’t really top-notch. The equipment feels fairly basic, and I’ve been to many gyms with much better, more modern machines. For a place of this level, the gym gear should really match the premium image. Bike Rentals: The cost of renting mountain bikes is 5-star, but the bikes themselves are in 1-star condition. The old KTM bikes are completely worn down and need replacing — even though the bike shop staff were very friendly. Gym Maintenance: Great setup, but several machines are visibly worn out. They started an initiative to improve cleanliness during my stay, which is a good sign. Pool Furniture: Every single parasol at the pool was broken — honestly, all of them! The sunbeds are old and some are broken too. For a place charging premium prices, this really needs fixing. Steam Room: Spacious, but not clean. It felt neglected and a bit unpleasant. Pool & Spa Tiles: Hundreds of missing tiles in the outdoor pool, hot/cold plunge pools, and steam room. This gives a rundown impression. Changing Rooms: In the men’s top-level showers, three weren’t working, and the general condition wasn’t great. Overall The Campus has so much potential and truly great facilities, but it’s time for a serious maintenance and refurbishment effort. With some investment, it could easily be a world-class 5-star sports and leisure destination again.

Experiência fantástica: Adult playground! Absolutely loved the week I had at the campus. I did the week of Padel group lessons and joined in the cardio tennis as well. The coaches are fun and very knowledgable being able to break down technical pointers in easy to understand instruction. Fantastic vibe around the whole place with happy staff and members. Can’t wait to be back!

Experiência negativa: Booked a sports massage. Paid online. Arrived 5 mins early and checked in. Waited for 20 mins to be told there was a mistake with the booking system. Won’t be back and wouldn’t recommend!

Also nice place to have a coffee and watch the world go bye without trying to rip yu off. You can learn tennis, paddleboard & other sports. or just use the gym & relax in the pool afterwards

Experiência positiva: I got a weeks pass for 125 euro Pedro was super sweet and helpful! The staff were amazing here, at the reception! The classes were absolutely great! I did yin yoga, spin, and booty burn, all great. Spin did have the metrics on the screen though if thats off putting to you. The sauna, steam and heated outdoor pool was great. The Jacuzzi was being rebuilt when I went. Going in March it was quiet as it’s the off season. It closed everyday at 8pm around this time which is quite early imo. They provide towels and robes too which is nice. I can’t lie I was a bit surprised the gym didn’t have everything. It didn’t have a hip abductor machine. Only one stair stepper. For lat pull down and cable row it was just one machine without a seat that can be transformed into multiple ones. For leg press only the elevated one, not the beginner friendly one. It felt quite small considering the price point I thought it would have a better range of machines and more floor space for mat workouts. The female changing rooms were severally lacking amenities given the price point. The luxury gyms I go to in London for £100pm have dyson hair dryers, descent hair straighteners, nice shampoo and conditioner. The female changing rooms only had the basics, soap, one lousy hairdryer to share between everyone. The lotion dispenser always empty too. It’s definitely worth it for the experience it’s a nice vibe, but I think having better amenities in the female changing room would make it a more luxurious experience.

Experiência positiva: Signed up for the week's pass while on holiday. The classes were great, facilities excellent, and staff friendly. The steam room and sauna were a great way to wind down and the showers hot. It's a shame that the tennis and padel facilities aren't included in the week's pass as the pay-as-you-go prices are hefty and weekly pass holders are effectively paying the highest subscription rate. However I would still recommend and would return.

Experiência positiva: Quiet good , you can find whatever you working out with ( instead of jump rope for crossfit) friendly staff. Its always cold and windy inside of gym, put your jacket on.. and be aware for mosquitoes they dont have repellents

Friendly staff. Michelle the GM of the facility replied to my query within 20 minutes, late in the day. Professionalism befitting the elite facilities and brand. First rate experience so far.

Only down side is sometimes they book the downstairs level gym for teams that coming for training. So you cant use it for certain hours.

Experiência positiva: I recently joined the campus gym, and overall, it's a great facility with a few drawbacks. The gym itself is excellent, offering a really nice feel with its courts and football pitch. I absolutely love the running track and the gym, though access can be a bit tricky since it sometimes gets blocked off for athletes. I'm not sure how this affects regular members, but it's something to be aware of. The pool is a great size, and using it makes you feel like you're training in an athlete's facility. However, the downside is the staff and the price. The gym is quite pricey, and the staff have been consistently rude in my interactions with them. It’s unpleasant to deal with as soon as you step through the door. Additionally, there's no shampoo or conditioner available in the showers, so make sure to bring your own. Despite these issues, the quality of the facilities makes it a worthwhile experience, and I would still recommend it to others.

Experiência positiva: Tried to book a padel court on line which proved very difficult so gave up and phoned instead. I phoned and after going through a call forwarding system to the correct language and court bookings the phone was answered by someone who could not take a booking and gave me no information so I gave up and just went down to book in person. Although the lines of communication to book a court was bad the centre itself is a fantastic facility and the covered courts are excellent. The lady who took the booking at the booking point was very good but some of the other staff could do with some customer service training. I would say it's a fantastic facility but the communication and customer service side of things need more time to bed in and get better.

Experiência negativa: I went as a guest for the day and although the sports facilities are excellent and I was very surprised and disappointed at the lack of cleanliness of the changing rooms. There were paper towels lying strewn in the WC area and used towels in the changing area. The locker room area did not look like it had been cleaned for a few days. I didn't feel comfortable to shower there and chose to go home to shower. Not what one would expect when paying €50 euros for a workout. Please improve this aspect as would be keen to use Campus regularly

Experiência fantástica: I hesitated before buying an annual membership for The Campus because it’s not cheap, but I can honestly say it’s the best decision I’ve made since moving to the Algarve. Great facilities, super helpful staff and a good crowd of regulars. Feels special every day!

Experiência negativa: We have been visiting Quinta for many years now and have always used the Campus gym. The facilities are great with a good atmosphere. So this year I decided to take my 12 year old daughter to the gym for an ‘introduction’ as she is very keen. Having spoken to the reception at the Campus yesterday they assured me my daughter can use the gym on a day pass with me, as long as I supervise her. I told them I’ve been a PT for over 10 years so that wouldn’t be a problem. Imagine my anger when we turned up today, having extended our break a little to visit the gym and chill afterwards to be told I could go in, but she couldn’t as ‘the manager’ had informed the staff yesterday that they had reached their junior membership limit?!? I explained I only wanted a day pass, but the ‘rude’ receptionist insisted it couldn’t be done. For such a ‘professional’ facility this is ridiculous. My main problem is the email I received yesterday saying all was good and they were looking forward to us visiting them. The receptionist merely dismissed this contact. Honestly for a premium facility, that’s jokingly charges almost 50€ for a day pass, this treatment is shocking. Also, maybe a little ‘front of house’ training is required for the gym staff/recptionist. In hindsight I should have asked to speak to the manager but I was so angry and felt so let down we decided to leave. Whether I return there at any point we will have to wait and see.

Experiência negativa: The staff member on reception today is rude and unprofessional! Despite being told I could attend with my child by email, the rude staff member refused entry to us and practically made a show of it in front of other people waiting. Not a high class service for this overpriced and unprofessionally run place!

Experiência fantástica: Incredible facilities. Sauna, Steam room, outdoor pool, Specialist Gym, Main Gym, tennis courts, football pitches. Expensive (140€ for two weeks) but worth the price! Also has a huge selection of classes every day. Everytime we’ve been we’ve seen professional athletes training including PL football players and Olympians.

Experiência fantástica: Amazing facilities. Danos restaurant is great for lunch. Gym, tennis, classes...they are all here in a 5* location. They have weekly membership, monthly , season etc. A bit pricey, but worth it.

Experiência fantástica: Really nice sports facilities with classes such as yoga, Pilates, spinning and boxfit everyday. Also it has a really nice outdoor pool, and indoor jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. Also, it has 2 different gym facilities with high-tech machines that you can even watch TV on whilst working out! The only downside is it's slightly pricey, at €45 per day and €90 for a week pass, but that's reflected in the quality, cleanliness and really kind and helpful staff!

Experiência fantástica: The family all love visiting The Campus, my two girls love their lessons with Paulo while my wife and I sit in the sun enjoying the great drinks and fantastically friendly team who are always on hand. It’s such a pleasure to visit a sports venue that helps you take pleasure in the sports pursuit or watching your kids learn with the best in such a friendly environment . Kudos to the team!

Experiência fantástica: Really extraordinary place with absolutely first-class facilities (currently tennis, paddle tennis, cycling and a football pitch which I imagine is only for professionals). You don’t need to be a member, and a decent cafe / bar for the spectators. Once the contradiction work is finished I imagine this will be (if it’s not already) the place to play sport in this part of the world.

Experiência fantástica: First time visiting The Campus and I was extremely impressed. Having been visiting the area for close to 30 years, we usually play in Dunas or Vale do Lobo, but this as head and shoulders above both. Complimentary water and fridges on court we t fantastic tights and made playing in the heat slightly more bearable! Will definitely be going back.
