Experiência positiva: Overpriced, kinda old feeling and terrible WiFi. Pros are amazing views.

Experiência positiva: Very standard gym but one of the largest in the island. Some locals pay more to workout among foreigners that end up paying the 20€ a day as in this area there’s not many options. The staff seems to have little incentives to keep clients, meaning also they will leave you alone while you workout compared to other gyms in the area. They have a lot of amenities despite outdated that for some makes it worth it. Depending on what type of workout you do this might be incredibly overpriced. People sit on a machine or a spot and take over for long periods. This can break your workout. TVs on news channels are also a bit depressing. On the other hand the very fact that it’s over priced filters the environment a bit (nothing crazy but you don’t want to know how bad it gets). So all and all, for what’s available it’s okay but it takes very little for someone to take over the market. There’s a new large gym that scooped alot of the market but this gym tens to get the short term clients (aka tourists / visitors) because it’s one of the few that offers short term deals - incredibly overpriced, but not much competition for short term gym access. I visit the island often. Worked out there twice, for a couple weeks. It is by no means the top 3 gyms around, neither in quality or price.

Experiência negativa: Boa tarde,esteve no gym a fazer uma aula de fisioterapia,e fui super mal atendida pelas pessoas da recepção,ao ponto de rirem de mim quando perguntei pelos balneários, também achei uma falta de profissionalismo das recepcionistas ao se intrometerem em assuntos pessoais com os atletas.uma profissional devera saber separar o seu assinto pessoal do profissional e nao estar aos altos berros em recepção em chamar os atletas pelo nome porque o mesmo estava a falar sobre assunto de aulas,falta de humildade impatia ,profissionalismo para com as pessoas que querem iniciar uma vida saudável e ativa onde ja de impacto somos abordados na recepção com oerguntas idiotas,do tipo quer imagreser feche a boca ,quer ganhar pernas ande na poromenade,o mais estupido foi eu ouvir a recepcionistas diser ao colega de secção quando a atleta deixou o gym a seguinte frase:esta quer ser barby onde sera sempre uma bebyborn.e muita arrogância num ginásio para gente de baixo nível

Experiência negativa: I have been a member at this gym now for a while, and I have noticed that all the front desk team are very rude and unprofessional to most people when they ask for anything. When I asked for one time for an advice I was treated in a very rude was buy the team, so I decided to change the gym. Lots of gyms are available and more professional than this one!

Experiência negativa: Has a lot of potential but the service is rude and pointless rules to make you purchase a more expensive membership. Both my friend and I have been given different information regarding the rules of if we can bring a guest. Both times, we showed up to be told different rules and being forced to purchase a day pass or head home and have our time wasted. The receptionists are always rude regarding this, asserting that those rules today are THE rules and wont listen when we explain that we had been given different information multiple times. If you purchase a 3 week membership you're forced to sign up for classes 20 minutes or 1 hour before hand in person. A completely useless rule that only annoys you in the hopes you get a more expensive membership. The parking is not free also. For a basic gym/spa sure it is ok. There are better ones around though.

Experiência negativa: Dia 5 de Janeiro de manha por volta das 9h00h liguei para receção em saber informações sobre a zona SPA e se estava operacional, já costumando frequentar algumas vezes. Por norma vou com amigos meus e pagamos a entrada . Por volta das 10h40 me desloquei no local , paguei 20 eur a entrada que me possibilita usar toda zona de lazer. Conclusão: A piscina ocupada com aulas de grupo sem poder usar, jacuzzi com crianças acompanhadas pelos pais e duches também, sem , 1 lcadeira disponível, acompanhantes sem calçado apropriado na zona spa , pessoas a circular para todo lado vindas da aula de grupo da piscina . Por último, o banho turco com cheiro intenso a mofo , nem me arrisquei a usar !!!!

Experiência negativa: Я путешествую по миру последние три года и регулярно хожу в зал и такое я вижу впервые. Пот стоимости разового посещения в 20€ они не дают тренировочные полотенца для посещения, т.е. нужно обязательно иметь свое. Без тренировочного полотенца в зал не пускают. Это просто настолько норма — выдавать клиентам полотенца, что я примерно так же возмущена как если бы в зале не было душа.

Experiência fantástica: Best gym I’ve ever been to. Stuff is super friendly. There’s even sauna, steam room and jacuzzi

Experiência positiva: Boa tarde, Estive ainda agora no ginásio para fazer a entrega de uma justificação na qual a PT Patrícia Telmo estava a se recusar a aceitar a mesma. Sendo que já entreguei várias justificações idênticas aos colaboradores da recepção (Vanessa, etc) na qual nunca foram recusas, mesmo questionando aos superiores e com muita educação e profissionalismo. Quando afirmei que outros colaboradores tinham aceite a justificação, a pessoa em questão revirou os olhos quando citei os nomes dos colaboradores, demonstrando falta de conhecimento sobre a profissão que exerce. Quero deixar aqui o meu descontentamento pela pessoa acima referida (Patrícia) que não teve qualquer tipo de profissionalismo perante esta situação e ainda começou a rir na minha cara sobre o assunto. Trabalho com o atendimento ao público e não acho que tenha sido a melhor atitude a ter perante o cliente. O responsável pelo Ginásio irá ter conhecimento sobre este assunto

Experiência fantástica: Not the best gym I have been a member of, and not the cheapest one either, but overall, I can’t complain. The view is amazing, the classes are good, and I especially love the aquagym. There are also two saunas and a jacuzzi here.

Experiência negativa: I had a highly disappointing experience with this fitness club, largely due to the misinformation provided regarding their membership conditions. Before pausing my membership, I specifically asked if I could do so without any consequences, and I was assured there would be none. However, upon returning after a break of less than two months, I was suddenly informed that the terms of my contract had changed, and this was directly due to my decision to pause. This was despite the fact that I had clarified everything before making that decision. To make matters worse, when I asked for the contact information of someone in management to whom I could address my concerns, the staff dismissively said, "it wouldn't make any difference anyway." This response led me to believe that the management does not value customer feedback. In addition to these issues, the gym itself is subpar, and the membership fees are overpriced for what is offered. While I was initially willing to continue going, this final incident made me switch clubs, which I’m now very happy about. Madeira has far better options that are worth your time and money.

Experiência positiva: Nice fitness club with a good spa area. The prices are expensive, to be cheaper we have to sign a contract. The service is five stars for the local reality. Could have a CrossFit / cross training area where we could drop barbells and stuff, but that's just me being picky. For what it is, it's very good.

Experiência negativa: Disappointing overall. The price you pay doesn't match the expectations. The expensive pricing should reflect good quality equipment, greater number of machines and heavier dumbbells. I wouldn't expect so many limitations when paying so much. The only good thing is the Sauna but it not that worth when they close access to it.. and that mainly the reason why I go to this gym. Very unimpressed. I used to pay 20 euros at another gym, they didn't have sauna but in terms of the machine they have it all and at great numbers. This gym is by far overpriced and horrible experience.

Experiência negativa: As críticas sobre funcionários arrogantes, equipamentos desatualizados e falta de decoro básico na hora de compartilhar um espaço de fitness são justificadas. Material medíocre, mentalidade medíocre, péssima etiqueta de ginástica por parte da equipe e de alguns membros. Confie nas avaliações dos viajantes. A melhor coisa que posso dizer sobre isso é que a vista é linda.

Experiência negativa: By far the worst gym I’ve ever been to in my life It’s actually a joke, the personal trainers are literally getting a free pay cheque. Everything is taken by people sitting and talking all day long.

Experiência negativa: Nothing to do with the gym. The issue was the parking. Make sure you leave 10min after you paid. Had to pay extra for being a few minutes late which was not our fault. The car in front had to reverse so we couldn’t leave. We also had to wait for the lift so just use the stairs or you might have to pay extra. If possible use another car park unless you are going to the gym.

Experiência positiva: Good diversity of gym equipment, large training space with good sea view/atmosphere. Some equipment is outdated and lacks adequate maintenance. There is no air conditioning, the gym can get very hot.

Experiência negativa: Overall the gym has potential but it’s very dated and the service is poor. Cons: - Most of the equipment is old and broken. - Only have 1x bench press and lat pull down and no short barbells. Not enough for the size of gym. - Floor staff are completely inconsiderate. They stand in front of doorways and hesitantly let you pass. They also stand around chatting to the regulars, taking up gym equipment. - Regular gym goers are also unfriendly and entitled. - No water fountain. - No paper towel or sanitizer to clean equipment and mats after use. - Equipment and floor generally feels dirty. Pros: - Great view and outside area with view - Lots of treadmills

Experiência negativa: A member of staff (an older woman) took photos of me while I was working out at this gym today. When I approached her asking her why she took photos of me, she lied and said she didn’t take any photos. I told her I saw she took photos of me and after some time she admitted she did. She said she was taking the photos to show to her both because she had never seen anyone bring a laptop to the gym before (I brought my laptop because I have some workout videos there and didn’t have time to transfer them to my phone) This is extremely unprofessional and a form of sexual harassment since I was wearing my tight workout clothes. I high recommend avoiding this gym, especially for tourists and young women. Staff here is uncivilized and judgmental. Cannot believe I paid 15 euros for a single day pass to be harassed like this.

Experiência positiva: We really enjoy working out at this clean and well stocked gym. It's definitely popular but you can usually get access to the machines you want without waiting. Great hot tub!

Experiência negativa: Unfriendly, arrogant staff. Owner/manager occupies several equipment with his friend during peak times. Machines are old and not well maintained. But yes, the view is great!

Experiência negativa: Tudo bem se não houver outra opção. A academia é boa, mas não é boa. Os funcionários não eram gentis e irritantes. Eles vendem doces na frente. As únicas “barras de proteína” que oferecem têm valores nutricionais muito ruins. Eles fecham nos feriados.

Experiência negativa: Gym has decent machines but they’re prettt outdated. Nice ocean view on their patio. They don’t have anything to clean the machines so I consider it pretty dirty in terms on cleanliness. They have a gigantic studio that you aren’t aloud to use even though it’s completely empty which I find ridiculous. Didn’t use the pool so can’t comment on that. I would only use this facility if you’re looking for a quick vacation pump. **edited One last thing, I find the reviews in Portugal and Madeira very biased. I feel like they boost each other’s ratings considering they’re economy relies on tourism. I’ve found the most accurate reviews coming from honest travellers and not locals.

Experiência negativa: Ich würde das Studio nicht weiter empfehlen. Es ist viel zu teuer. Ein Tag 20€ . Geräte veraltet und nicht alles vorhanden. Es gibt eine Brustpresse mit Kabel die bestimmt 10 Jahre alt ist. Wenn sie über 1,85m sind haben sie ein Problem da die meisten Geräte zu klein sind. Das Personal war relativ freundlichen und hilfsbereit. Ich würde das Studio nicht wieder besuchen.

Experiência negativa: Péssima ! Não sei por onde começar mas é importante partilhar convosco a minha experiência neste ginásio medíocre e preconceituoso! Supostamente os ginásios deviam de nos incentivar a melhorar a nossa auto estima seja física ou + mais importante psicológica ou descarga emocional e não chegar a casa após ter pago 6 semanas de ginásio na confiança e boa fé muito insatisfeita! Após 3 tentativas de alerta e reclamação no livro não tive resposta de um superior ou admistracao para expôr a minha situação ou resolução do problema actual após ser agredida verbalmente por sócios/clientes deste ginásio nada foi feito até hoje que o instrutor da aula localizada das 20h origem brasileira entre os 45 a 60 anos no dia 2 de junho de 2023 sair da sua zona de conforto algo que nenhum instrutor faz mesmo que o exercício esteja errado vem sublinhar que se continuar a filmar o meu treino focado só em mim tenho provas disso e não a terceiros que tinha que ir para o fim da sala de aula! Falta de respeito e preconceito! Eu indignada concluí 30m de aula sendo de 45 m e vim embora porque não me senti bem naquela situação! O ginásio é suposto elevar auto estima e não humilhar ninguém! Não aceito tal preconceito pois nunca captei nenhum sócio ilegalmente e sempre tive cuidado com a exposição digital e o ginásio sempre participou das minhas menções! Venho deixar o meu testemunho de falta de humildade e respeito pelo cliente/ sócio não aconselho este ginásio! Desilusão e falta de tudo ( equipa comunicação e humildade). I don't know where to start but it's important to share with you my experience in this mediocre and prejudiced gym! Supposedly gyms should encourage us to improve our self-esteem whether physical or + more importantly psychological or emotional discharge and not go home after having paid for 6 weeks of gym membership in trust and good faith! After 3 attempts to alert and complain in the book, I had no response from a superior or management to expose my situation or solve the current problem after being verbally attacked by members/clients of this gym, nothing has been done until today that the instructor of the class located at 8pm Brazilian origin between 45 and 60 years old on June 2, 2023 stepping out of your comfort zone something that no instructor does even if the exercise is wrong comes to underline that if I continue to film my training focused only on me I have proof of that and not the third party who had to go to the end of the classroom! Lack of respect and prejudice! I indignantly finished 30m of the class being 45m and left because I didn't feel good in that situation! The gym is supposed to raise self-esteem and not humiliate anyone! I don't accept such prejudice because I've never recruited any member illegally and I've always been careful with digital exposure and the gym has always participated in my mentions! I come to leave my testimony of lack of humility and respect for the client/member I do not recommend this gym! Disappointment and lack of everything (team communication and humility). Experiência fantástica: Este é um Gym muito completo, tem uma variedade de maquinas de exercício e suficientes para não ter tanto tempo à espera. A piscina é muito boa, como o sauna e o jacuzzi. O pessoal é muito simpático e prestável. As aulas que assisti eram mesmo muito Boas.

Experiência positiva: Enttäuschend... keine Handtücher zum leihen, als Urlauber schon schwierig zu realisieren. Geräte soweit ok, Personal gewöhnungsbedürftig, Scheiben und Gewichte in schlecht gepflegtem Zustand, etwas mehr Sauberkeit wünschenswert. Absolut geiler view auf den Atlantik mit einer starkem Terrasse.
