I have not felt as relaxed and recharged as I felt leaving the retreat in a Long time. I absolutely recommend this place to anyone who wants to really nurture their soul and meet likeminded people. Experiência fantástica: I did the 100 hours of Yin Yoga teacher training with Peter and Sue in May/June 2023. They are very warm and humorous people. I particularly liked the holistic approach with which you convey your knowledge. It is so complex and interesting. I learned a lot of new things and took yoga lessons with me for my life. At the beginning I was very excited because for the first time I went to a group of completely unknown people all alone. But we were a great group and the atmosphere was totally relaxed and frank. That helped me a lot to take off my fear of groups. Above all, of course, in relation to yoga lessons in front of groups. The most important thing I learned there was, however, the way Peter and Sue teach, and this was 100% authentic. This is a great learning for me that we, as a yoga teacher, do not have to pretend, we have to know and be able to do everything perfectly, but best to be fully fully dare to be ourselves. And then we will also put on the right people. And not to forget the beautiful location. It is really incredibly beautiful and calm there. The perfect place for a retreat center. The food was also just delicious. I can recommend this experience to everyone who is looking for a very special Yin Yoga training, that you will not forget. Thank you very much Peter and dear Sue. I really enjoyed the time with you.

Experiência fantástica: Evolutionary yoga is situated in a magical place in the mountains. The only sounds are from the birds – and a monkey also living there. I joined the 100 hrs yin yoga teacher training in May/June 23 and I am so grateful thate I chose this place. The teachers, Sue and Peter have so much knowledge, and share it with the students in a very passionate and interesting way. I am grateful for the 4 manuals we got, and are studying them with great interest. The food was delicious.

Experiência fantástica: This retreat is a must. Pete and Sue have been building a sacred place, a magical haven, stress free, hassle free. You will feel at home. Most importantly, wherever you are in your yoga / qigong / spiritual journey, you will be able to revisit your foundation, remember what brought you on this path, and train with Pete and Sue to how move forward and even expand your journey. And it is a lot of fun too! There is a mix of yoga, qigong, meditation, that has been carefully created by Pete and Sue to make us embark on quite a unique journey. Food was excellent, there is a very pleasant swimming pool, i slept like a baby, we had access to a fantastic massage therapist. It was a fantastic retreat, and I highly recommend it. Experiência fantástica: This intimate and authentic retreat run by Peter, Sue and all those who volunteer, can't be recommended enough. After having spent just one week there it holds a special place in my heart and I know for sure that I will be going back for many years to come. Both Sue and Peter are excellent yoga instructors with great humour, wisdom and big hearts. Their warmth, hospitality and relaxed approach are what make this place unique. The incredible food is another (big) bonus. Already looking forward to returning soon.

Experiência fantástica: I attended a week with peter & sue at this very special and magical place after going through a really bad time. If you are looking for an authentic place with teachers that are highly trained in many areas of personal development and self growth then this is for you. The retreat centre is absolutely stunning and spread over 14 acres of forest land. I have been on lots of retreats but have never tasted such excellent food. My room was just perfect with views across the valley. The swimming pool which is natural salt leaves you feeling so refreshed and on a hot day it was perfect for cooling down. Thank you Sue and Peter and I will be seeing you very soon.

A real home-away-from-home, with super-comfortable rooms, incredible food, authentic and inclusive yoga, and beautiful scenery. Peter and Sue are the warmest, wisest, loveliest hosts you could ask for. Magical place!

Experiência fantástica: Spent 2 weeks at Yoga evolution and loved every day there, would stay longer if i could :) The place itself is beatiful, comfortable rooms & amenities. The food was delicious, healthy and inspiring, came back with many ideas for my daily diet. Yoga & meditation - learned so much from Peter and Sue! They had great personal tips & adjustments for each practitioner. Enjoyed interesting conversations with so many people there, rested & relaxed by the pool, walked around the beatiful nature and played with their lovely pets & animals. Thank you for creating this awesome place and sharing it with us ! See you again in the future :)

Experiência fantástica: I have not been to any other retreat but been here twice - it's authentic, great yoga, fantastic food. Last time I stayed in one of the caravans - you really get a chance to relax, take the time you need and come back relaxed after one week like you have been away for a month.

Experiência fantástica: I’ve been to the Evolution yoga retreat 3 times . The last time was September 2023 with my daughter . I’ve recommended this retreat centre to so many people. It’s homely , it’s disciplined , it’s inspiring . I feel very comfortable here . Just the right balance of yoga qi gong massage gong baths chilling by the pool reading or walking or swimming in the river . Food is perfect . I’ve always stayed in the caravans . Next time I may venture into the house . It’s so down to earth . Pete and Sue are very welcoming . So glad I found it .

Experiência fantástica: I've now stayed for 2 retreats here, within the same year! During the Spring in April 2023 and to see in the New Year (2024). This is definitely the retreat environment I've been looking for and always feel at home and relaxed in the beautiful accommodation and practice space, you can't beat being in the middle of the mountains too! Sue and Peter are always so welcoming, relaxed and make your retreat experience one to remember. Their knowledge and expertise is inspiring and there's always something new I take away. I've learned so much whilst being here, during the Qi Gong and Yin practices, plus other practices shared throughout the week. I especially love the Gong Baths and Drum Journey experiences. The mountain walks are also a real treat and a great opportunity to explore the environment. The food is always delicious and I can't stop myself from going for seconds! It's always an amazing spread of fresh creative food that I love to recreate when back at home. I feel I've definitely found a place that I will return to every year, for self care, reflection and reconnection, movement and relaxation, fresh mountain air and a top up of like minded people and sense of community. Experiência fantástica: For me, this retreat experience is so profound that I go back at least once a each year (although I have been known to go twice!) and I can safely say that it has changed my life :-) Peter and Sue have created something very special here. A safe and supportive space, where yogis of all levels can go deep and explore their own potential. Set in the mountains, surrounded by raw natural beauty, they have converted an old village (maintaining most of the old buildings' structural and aesthetic features) into their authentically rustic retreat centre. With about five or six hectors, and set on several terraces (some of which is untouched valley forest) there is no end of exploring to do. In his morning Ashtanga classes, Peter will take you on a journey through the primary series, with focuses on meditation, Bhandas, Nidra and Pranayama. Peter encourages you to challenge yourself, finding and honouring your own edge. Wise but down to earth, he is knowledgeable and approachable. In her afternoon Yin sessions, Sue perfectly balances Peter's morning yang practice. Just like Sue herself, the Yin sessions and nurturing and gentle. The food in itself is an event three times daily - delicious vegetarian, macrobiotic and tri-doshic (Ayurvedic principles) menu, all cooked with love. But beyond the empowering yoga classes, the stunning setting and amazing food....there is something more....something a bit like magic in the air. It's hard to put it into words. Perhaps it's all the yogis who have put their energy into the land over the years. Or perhaps the space is built on a special energetic lay-line. Maybe it's the love that Peter and Sue have for life, our world and affecting positive change through yoga. Whatever it is, it's tangible - palpable. I feel lucky to be part of their community :-)
