Experiência positiva: We stayed here for 7 nights as part of a tour group and it included buffet breakfast, which was excellent. The rooms are fine, if a little on the aging side, but clean and well serviced. Wifi was good. Amenities included indoor and outdoor pools, sauna, bar and restaurant. We only used the bar for a late dinner when arriving and for an evening drink a few times. The staff are fantastic and very helpful and did their best to meet our lack of knowing ANY Portuguese. Excellent recommendations for local restaurants, grocery stores and sights to see. Unfortunately, there was construction on the floors above us ALL day (8am to 5pm or later) and every day except Sunday and was annoying whenever we were in the room during those hours.

Experiência positiva: My cousin and I visited this hotel during the off-season (Late October- Early November), which could explain some of the deficiencies I noticed. We were also told by a tour guide that this hotel was set to close in the coming weeks for renovations. Overall, this isn't a bad place to stay, it's within walking distance of a lot of stuff. The mall, various gardens, restaurants/bars and the main downtown shopping area are all 10-20 minutes away. If you forgot to pack anything, there's a store called Hiper China steps away that will likely have what you're looking for. That being said, the actual hotel is a bit dated... Rooms: We stayed in a double occupancy room (two twin beds, no balcony). There was no working A/C or fan in the bathroom. There's also no outlet in the bathroom, so be aware of that. Not all of the lights worked, the key card kept deactivating, and since there was construction happening when we arrived, it was loud in the morning and throughout the day. The fridge is also tiny, so don't plan on using it for leftovers, haha. Food: The bar restaurant was great, and the staff working there were all friendly and helpful. I wasn't a fan of the buffet breakfast. The scrambled eggs had a weird liquid in them, and the fruit selection was always empty. Amenities: The property features two pools, a "hot tub" that isn't hot, and a small sauna that occasionally works. There isn't a gym, or there wasn't when we were there, and the games room is just a few pool tables that you have to pay for. In my opinion, the only draw to the hotel is the bar. They had live entertainment one of the nights I was in, and like I mentioned before, the staff were great. To summarize, if you're not planning on spending a lot of time in your room, this place works well. As I mentioned earlier, there is a lot to do in the area, so I recommend it based on that, but not if you're looking for a relaxing place to rest your head.

Experiência negativa: In the grand scheme of things this hotel isn’t awful. It’s not dirty and it’s a decent location. But as far as a 4 star hotel this is a complete lie. I have no clue how they have the ratings they do. I can’t even imagine how they have been rated a 4 star hotel, and as you can see from my previous ratings, I am very generous with my Google reviews Let’s start with the cosmetics of the hotel. Everywhere you go including rooms is 1980s plush carpet, not only is it dated but I was sneezing the whole time I was in the rooms. Next I would say the amenities, yes there is a pool in the hotel but as far as your room goes, u have nothing, if there wasn’t a refrigerator in the room it would be literally nothing. Not to mention the refrigerator even when turned all the way up can’t keep a drink cool for an hour and only fits maybe 4 bottles of soda and a block of cheese. Smaller than a dorm refrigerator. Also no coffee station or ice machine in the hotel. Now I stay in hotels 10x a year and I thought I was in twilight zone because everytime I asked for hot water or ice I got blank stares and said we are sorry sir it’s not possible, although the bar did offer ice, I found out that I was being charged €4 everytime I got ice for drinks that were hot from being unrefrigerated in the refrigerator. No kettle no ice machines, the only benefit was that the cleaning crew was great, very friendly, the location was close to the biggest shopping center in Azores, and the ac was cold in the room. Honestly the front desk people were mostly useless except for a few interactions where they provided slight insights. It felt bizarre to ask any questions most the time, except for a few people like the Brazilian gentleman at the concierge. Most the English wasn’t as good as u find in stores and my Portuguese was fluent was tough because they would switch into broken English even when I spoke Portuguese. Lastly I will say, the food wasn’t that good, the included breakfast was nothing, which I know is very Portuguese but, by the end I was so tired of queijo fresco that I might never eat it again, and I love queijo fresco. The food at the bar was decent but was expensive and if u just walk 10 minutes u will find amazing food for a quarter of the price that isn’t bland. After 4 or 5 days I chose to spend every opportunity outside of this hotel, which is unfortunate because it was our honeymoon The moral of the story is, management, please don’t be cheap and spend some money on renovations…your hotel is decades overdue. Furthermore any potential guests staying in sao Miguel, stay somewhere else, it will probably be cheaper, don’t trust the 4 star rating. My wife and I spent around 2000 for our 8 day honeymoon and we had a bait and switch from our travel agent that stated don’t worry this hotel is just as nice as Azores grand hotel atlântico. I wish I trusted my guy and not our travel agent

Experiência positiva: Nos hospedamos en el São Miguel Park Hotel durante unos días. La llegada no fue del todo fácil: el recepcionista nos habló muy rápido en portugués, le pedimos que repitiera más despacio, pero volvió a hacerlo igual y no entendimos nada. Más tarde, al pedir ayuda a otra chica de recepción, ella sí nos explicó todo con calma y fue mucho más clara. La habitación estaba correcta, aunque una de las tarjetas no funcionaba y tuve que bajar a que la reprogramaran. El hotel en sí se nota antiguo, con bastante desgaste: en el hall y en la zona del comedor había baldosas rotas y el lavabo de la habitación había visto tiempos mejores. Por lo demás, estuvimos bien, sin grandes problemas, aunque el servicio durante los desayunos fue bastante seco. En resumen, un hotel que cumple, pero que necesita urgentemente una renovación para estar a la altura.

Experiência fantástica: El hotel está en una zona tranquila pero cerca del centro. Si te vas a mover en coche, es una muy buena opción ya que se llega bien desde la carretera y hay muchísimo sitio para aparcar tanto dentro de la zona del hotel tanto fuera. El desayuno era muy variado. Había dos piscinas, una interior y otra exterior, y jacuzzi, todo gratuito y en buen estado. El personal fue muy atento en todo momento, y la habitación estaba muy limpia.

By the late time I arrived at the hotel due to flight connections i didn't want to touch no system and lets just say the room was cold despite showing 22C (warm)... Near the bed there was no phone plugs...( and if your like me, you like to charge your phone near by the bed to shut of the alarm in the morning and have your phone charged, an extra blanket on the room could have helped to... Besides that, staff, breakfast, bed quality/sleep quality-->* * * * *

Experiência positiva: Stayed here for 4 nights. Hotel is clean and staff are very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast buffet was plentiful and had a variety of choices, but pretty standard by north American standards, with some local offerings. We were in a standard room, and it was fine. A/C worked fine and when the sliding closet door came off its rails, it was immediately fixed. Small fridge in the room, lots of lights and outlets to plug into. In-room safe worked flawlessly. Both pools were clean and well maintained with easy access to the bar area. Location was perfect, within a 10 minute walk to the waterfront, close to the mall and all the local shops.

Óptimo pequeno almoço, boas piscinas e restantes instalações. A sua localização no centro da cidade, permite qualquer deslocação a pé (centro histórico, marginal, centro comercial, entre outros) e a passo do aeroporto sem se sofrer com o ruido dos aviões de forma mais séria. Granola heerlijk en ook lactosevrije yoghurtjes om er door te doen. Geen vers sap helaas. Zwembad goed. Ligbedjes wat doorgezakt. Locatie is goed, prima te lopen centrum. Parkeren bij hotel (gratis)

Experiência positiva: O pequeno almoço é bom e diversificado, assim como os buffets ao jantar. Os quartos estão limpos. Inadmissível foram dois dias sem ar condicionado no quarto que mais parecia uma sauna com um calor excessivo e não terem solucionado a questão.

Experiência positiva: Um quatro estrelas tradicional, mas talvez a precisar de uma remodelação. Os quartos são amplos e têm máquina de café (cápsulas). Se conseguir quarto nos pisos superiores poderá ter vista panorâmica sobre Ponta Delgada. Ficámos no último piso e o nosso terraço era quase maior do que o próprio quarto e tinha espreguiçadeiras, mesa e cadeiras. O pequeno almoço é apenas mediano mas cumpre. O centro da cidade está a uma caminhada de 10 minutos de distância. Há um centro comercial a menos de 10 minutos a pé. O hotel dispõe de estacionamento gratuito, mas também há um grande parque público mesmo ao lado do hotel. Quartos: Quartos espaçosos com varanda. Acessibilidade a pé: Perto do centro histórico e de centro comercial.

Experiência positiva: Hotel muy cómodo con buena ubicación en Ponta Delgada, tanto para ir al centro como para moverte para los diferentes sitios. El hotel está muy limpio pero si necesitaría una actualización ya que se nota que se ha quedado antiguo. Nosotros reservamos directamente con el hotel, nos dieron una habitación bastante grande y muy cómoda con vistas a la piscina y al mar. El personal de recepción y del desayuno, que son con los únicos que interactuamos, me pareció que fueron correctos y amables. El desayuno Buffett normal, si que deberían poner más tostadores, solo había uno pequeño para todos y el hotel estaba lleno. El hotel tiene parking grande y gratis, para ir con coche de alquiler es perfecto.

Experiência fantástica: Quarto familiar ótimo com varanda com vista para a pista do aeroporto pequeno almoço recheado fantástico, piscina interior e exterior fantástico e a jacuzzi nem se fala para quem tem dores musculares eu proponho a jacuzzi quentinha. Experiência positiva: Hotel limpo e bem localizado. A comida é muito boa ao jantar e ao pequeno almoço. A metade mais jovem da equipa de restaurante é bastante atenciosa e prestável, a metade mais experiente é muito prepotente e não o querem ver por perto. Não atendem aos seus pedidos e fogem do cliente quando pedimos ajuda, preferem ficar encostados a conversar.

Experiência positiva: Hotel de 4 estrellas que en España sería un 3 estrellas medio. Lo mejor del hotel es la ubicación, cerca del centro a 5min andando y con buena conexión a la carretera general de la isla. Tienen un gran parking dentro como fuera de la parcela del hotel. El servicio de recepción justito, poca amabilidad, no te miran a la cara ni son muy habladores. Tuvimos un par de problemas con las llaves de la puerta y también tuvimos la visita inesperada de una cucaracha, la cual, cazamos nosotros mismos con un vaso. Cuando bajamos a quejarnos, la culpa era nuestra por dejar las llaves cerca del móvil y dejar las ventanas abiertas todo el día. Nos perdonaron la vida. Las habitaciones, correctas pero sin más. Gym pequeño y piscinas pequeñas y bastante sucias (por la tarde no vayas). En definitiva pocas luces y muchas sombras.

Experiência negativa: Serviço de restaurante não acompanha a evolução do tempo e continua com o mesmo menu fraco de sempre onde predomina a batata e legumes para encher travessas. Apesar do preço ir evoluindo, é muito mau o único vinho incluído ser de 1.99€ no hipermercado e o sumo ser Sunquik. É pena...

Experiência positiva: The breakfast buffet needs more thought. Due to the Americans and British. Omelets bacon potatoes. Only one coffee machine was working. Maybe carafe of coffee might be a better alternative. Some small changes can bring some better results.

Experiência positiva: Medelklasshotell klassas dock som 4 stjärnigt vilket jag inte tycker stämmer men med vänlig och hjälpsam personal. Dock rätt slitna rum med lösa kontakter i väggen. Schampo och handtvål fylls på från samma förpackning vilket innebär att det inte är olika sorter och att tvätta håret i handtvål är inte vad jag önskar. Frukosten är ingen höjdare. Bröden är torra och äggröran är syntetisk i smaken och vattnig inte krämig och hemgjord. Inga bacon vilket jag aldrig nästan aldrig saknat på hotell innan. Gurkan är inte inte färsk den är uppskuren dagen innan. Tomaterna övermogna och saggiga. För lite urval och variation. Juicen är inte riktig utan bara typ färgad saft och svag. Kaffet är pulverkaffe och smakar dessvärre inte gott. Inga nötter eller torkad frukt. Dock nära centrum, poolerna är ok fast utrpoolen för kall. Sängarna stenhårda och saknar bäddmadrass konstigt nog.

Experiência positiva: Für einen Urlaub auf Sao Miguel ein zu empfehlendes Hotel. Wir waren eine Woche dort mit Halbpension. Die Zimmer sind standardmäßig ausgestattet und recht groß. Das Badezimmer ist eher alt und mit Badewanne ausgestattet. Die Reinigung unserer Zimmer war gut. Das Personal im Restaurant und an der Rezeption waren meist freundlich. Die Essensauswahl ist mittelmäßig. Frühstück ist soweit gut; Abendessen wiederholt sich oft. Teilweise sind die Speisen nur lauwarm. Wir sind immer satt geworden und es hat soweit geschmeckt. Kulinarische Highlights darf man hier jedoch nicht erwarten. Im Vergleich zu vielen anderen Hotels auf der Insel bietet dieses Hotel aber zumindest überhaupt ein Abend-Buffet an. Das Personal im Speisesaal könnte jedoch etwas aufmerksamer sein. Die Tische sind oft noch dreckig und meist nicht mit neuem Besteck gedeckt. Den Tisch eindecken mussten wir grundsätzlich immer selber übernehmen. Im Vergleich zu anderen 4 Sterne Hotels in Spanien oder Portugal ist das Hotel unserer Meinung nach daher eher nur mit einem 3 Sterne Hotel vergleichbar. Für den Standard auf den Azoren ist das Hotel aber gut. Trotz der kleineren Kritikpunkte hat uns der Aufenthalt gefallen. Quartos: Groß und standardgemäß ausgestattet Acessibilidade a pé: Der Stadtkern von Ponta Delgada ist innerhalb von 10 Minuten zu erreichen. Alimentos e bebidas: Kein Vergleich zu anderen 4 Sterne Hotels in Spanien. Wenig Auswahl, häufiger das gleiche Essen. Man wird jedoch satt und es schmeckt soweit. Jedoch keine kulinarischen Highlights.

Experiência positiva: Sehr gute Lage. Das Hotel hat Aussen sowie Innenpool und eine Sauna. Sehr freundliche und aufmerksames Personal an der Rezeption.

Experiência positiva: Aunque la información y atención de la persona de recepción no me agradó, el hotel está bien situado, con muchísimo sitio para aparcar y las habitaciones están bien. Repetiría, seguramente, si vuelvo a Ponta Delgada, especialmente si lo hago con coche de alquiler.

Experiência positiva: Das Hotel liegt etwas oberhalb der Stadtmitte. Wenn man ca. ab dem 3. Stock ein Zimmer hat, hat man einen Blick über die Stadt auf`s Meer. Die Zimmer sind geräumig, allerdings schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Im Bad gibt es Pflegeprodukte, eine Badewanne mit Duschvorhang, das finde ich persönlich etwas "oldfashioned". Es gibt einen Innen- wie Außenpool, Fitneßraum und Sauna. Die Pools sind mit guten Liegen ausgestatten und auf Nachfrage erhält man auch Handtücher. Das Frühstücksbuffet bietet für jeden was, es gibt auch Hafer-, Soja- und Mandelmilch, sowie lactosefreien Joghurt. Alles in allem ein empfehlenswertes Hotel mit freundlichem Personal

Experiência positiva: Not reviewing the Rooms. But the restaurant itself as they dont have it. We visited for lunch on a sunday, it was very quiet, they were a bit late on opening the doors (15 mins) we think theres rooms for improvement on the decor/tablecloths its all a bit rundown. Food was ok, there was a few choices but nothing super tasty and some of the things were a bit cold. Not sure if its good value for money considering we dont drink. But for comodity it was ok.

Experiência positiva: Very recently, I stayed at the Sao Miguel Park Hotel while in Ponta Del Gada. I wanted to give a shout out to two hospitality professionals at the front desk. Both Nuno and Petra were extremely helpful with my seemingly endless questions and issues (not issues with the hotel). The hotel is perfectly located close to the center of town. The breakfast buffet was exceptional. The room was comfortable, albeit a bit outdated. The bed pillows were a bit lumpy for my liking. The carpeting is in need of replacement as well as the uncomfortable wicker furniture in the hotel lobby. Also, why are there no facial tissues in the rooms? With the above stated minor concerns, my stay was great due to Nuno and Petra. Thank you!

Experiência positiva: I stayed here with my family of 5 for a week. The location is convenient, and the food at the hotel started off decent, but by the end of our stay, it wasn't good. The service was friendly. The beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable. There was no microwave or coffee pot in the rooms, which is pretty standard. The indoor pool was decent but had no low end for the kids to get in, so not really toddler friendly. The jacuzzi was out of order, so that was disappointing. Our room keys kept deactivating, so we kept having to go to the front desk to have that fixed. Our shower randomly stopped working, so someone had to come in and fix that. The parking lot isnt easily accessible to the front door so if you're coming in after hours, it's not convenient. The location is good at least, a 5 min walk to stores and food.

El gimnasio pesimo, la escalera de la piscina esta suelta (para la gente mayor es un peligro), la ducha no tiene fuerza...en fin. No lo recomiendo

Experiência fantástica: Front line workers are amazing- the backbone of the tourism industry. Location is superb Close enough to downtown. Next to an amazing botanical garden, spacious with parking. The front desk staff are knowledgeable, informative and friendly. The breakfast is super varied and good.- compliments to the chef and staff. The room attendants are thorough and discreet- well done. The pool is super kept. All in all this hotel shows pride and efficiency. I came in Jan for a few days, and mid Feb for a few days. The staff are brand loyal.

Experiência positiva: Rooms are nice and clean but the hotel looks like it's seen better days. No kettle in the room and we were charge €10 for a pot of tea in the bar. Breakfast is good but the dinning room looks soulless and uninspiring and the chairs are all stained and dirty. Dinner looked pricey so we opted to eat out. Staff were very friendly and accomodating. Would be great if some info was posted by the reception, like events and local tours etc.

Experiência positiva: As of April 8th 2024 all of the below issues have been rectified, I'm changing my review to 4 stars in the hopes that management is progressive with addressing these issues for other guests in the future. Literally staying here right now and the air conditioner doesn't work and the beds are rock hard. Asked about the a/c twice and still no fix. The solution was to open the door apparently. Just had to listen to the dogs barking all hours of the night. Choose a different hotel with Air Conditioning and better beds Edit: The fridge doesn't work either, also asked about the ac a 3rd and 4th time and still not fixed.

Experiência negativa: Mais uma péssima experiência no Restaurante Atlântida neste hotel. No seu site diz que é o melhor buffet de Ponta Delgada. Completamente errado. Infelizmente mais uma vez lá fui, não porque quis mas... jantar da empresa! Atendimento sem qualquer tipo de formação ainda mais uma Senhora que estava na entrada do Restaurante que parecia que... estava apenas ali e ali ficou do início ao final do jantar, com frio! Auxiliasse os colegas se calhar aquecia. Mas o pior da noite foi mesmo servir Bife de Perú ou Frango CRÚ. Já nem me lembro da ave... Exactamente leram bem, crú. Chamada atenção a quem ali estava de serviço retorquiu: "Oh Senhor peço desculpa. Vou já à cozinha relatar o sucedido." Ok. Até agora voltaram com mais algum prato e ou alguma explicação lógica. Dias menos bons todos nós temos... fazer de todos os dias menos bons é outra coisa. Restaurante a anos de luz da qualidade de outros da mesma companhia. Espero não passar mal por comer metade de um bife de CRÚ... e não fui o único na sala a queixar-se. Revejam os Vossos parâmetros de qualidade!

Experiência fantástica: Buen hotel pero un poco lejos del puerto. Si alquilas coche perfecto. Atividades próximas: En el puerto hay muchas actividades para contratar. Sobre todo ver delfines y ballenas .

Experiência fantástica: Camere pulite, arredate in maniera funzionale. Bagno con vasca (e doccia) e bidet! Materassi confortevoli e due cuscini per tipo. Balcone con vista. Colazione con tanti dolci (anche della tradizione). Frutta ottima e sezione per colazione internazionale. Reception molto attenta e preparata. Consigliato.

Experiência fantástica: Super miejsce. Pokoje czyste, śniadania smaczne, myślę, że każdy znajdzie coś dla siebie. Basen, siłownia, sauna, ręczniki na basen, parasolki w cenie. Obsługa oraz szefowa bardzo pomocne. Przed zarezerwowaniem pokoju szefowa oprowadziła Nas po wszystkich miejscach Bardzo duży parking w hotelu oraz dwa parkingi bardzo blisko hotelu. Z mojej strony na minus tylko zapach w pokojach ale hotel nie jest nowy, polecam personelowi o zawieszenie zapachów w szafach i pomieszczeniach przed przyjazdem gościa a będzie dużo lepiej. Gorąco polecam.

Experiência positiva: Habitacion, desayuno, sencillos. Buen parking. Funciona bien el A.C. y nevera habitacion. Quartos: Pekeñas pero suficientes.
